thanks for the advice bro. last question... do you think this ap has better coverage and reach vs asus ac68? this is my main criteria...

- They have different model for different coverage and speed. Please check and ensure that you are getting the right model.

1. Like love (2 way). The AP and device must work hand in hand.

2. Like all WiFi location of the AP is important. My friend and I have good coverage for a 4 room BTO flat. Once again everyone usage and expectation is different.

Be prepared tat these enterprise grade AP needs some networking know how 2 set up it properly. Ac68 maybe easier if u prefer minimal work.

For me I just a normal user and find that it wasn't that hard to setup. Unless u wanna enable VLan , Guest login portal and etc.

suggest that check out some YouTube video and see how difficult.

Depends on what brand AP you get. The Ubiquiti Unifi AP is very easy to setup. Just need to "adopt" it in the software then it is good to go.

The rest of the setup features are quite self-explanatory, unless it more for more advanced features.

I using the AC LITE the range is damn good for me. The AP is install some where centre of the house and i can get coverage until lift lobby (1 bar, slow but still can access internet)

i bought the long range version. basically no need repeater for mansionette. but somehow alot of neighbour with strong ap around me so i guess it in a way affect the distance it can cover... some spot i detech 15 to 20 channel

most direct way is to pull out the faceplate and see

Cables does not make any difference as long as u buy a straight cable.

U just need to ensure all faceplates are terminated using the same standard, so whole house either A or B.

If u r going to use gigabit lan, then can bochup, cos gigabit lan must support auto sensing, and the switch or network card is suppose to be able to swap the lines internally if it senses one side A and one side B
