IMHO.
May end up misplacing some files …
Don't need waste so much time ah, just buy 2 x 1 TB external HDD for $60+ each and gao dim liao.
many thanks for the info................no $$$ lah...........i rather pay for Ext HDD - no choice..........![]()
I assume your ext HDD cost $80-100, and your monthly cloud storage on Backblaze B2 is less than $1. You think how long you can keep it backed up? Do the math.
Don't think your ext HDD can even last that long.

cloud less than $1 a mth ?
do i need to pay a lot at the beginning ?
what capacity - if got 300GB i think also enough liao?............![]()
Please check it out yourself.
I have shown the way.
Backblaze B2 is not your typical consumer cloud storage so it's not exactly a fair comparison. In fact, if you want free egress traffic beyond the daily free quota, you have to do even more. TS can consider Backblaze's Computer Backup plan. It's unlimited (with some caveats) and cost US70/year. There's a free trial available.
I do agree if you don't want the hassle, and you trust the big players like OneDrive or GDrive, then just use them. They are a lot easier to use and setup.
frankly ... if someone is not willing to pay market rate money.... that means is not important at all
go delete some junk....
I gave up 2tb of prawns LOL...
