Just got my IM02 but he comply tip that came with it cannot fix well with my ear. Any one know if Tx-400 or tx-500 will be compatible with IM02? And where can I get Small size one?
The AD700X is an easily driven headphone. Your onboard realtek codec should do just fine. Do note that for some head-fiers, it is considered quite bright and bass light.
Save the $ on the SB ZX and get the Z instead. The additional headphone out module is mediocre and not worth the additional $20 or more.
Hope this helps. Regards.
It may help a little but what you get will be virtual surround only. How much better will it be if i add in the sbz card into my system?? In terms of clarity and positional cause I'm trying to be competitive in bf4. Thanks in advance!
Maybe you would like to consider the Audio Technica A900XLTD for him.Hi Stereo,
I am looking for a gift for my Dad and I'm planning to give him a headphone. Any suggestions? Should be closed-back design with good bass and clear vocals as well. Range would be $300-$500. Thanks!![]()

quite a number of options ba.... besides the above mentioned, can check out nad viso hp50, kef m500, psb m4u, focal spirit classic and spirit pro... these (perhaps except for the psb) are generally easy to drive and would do well straight out from players without separate amp, depending on what configuration your dad is going to utilise.Hi Stereo,

except for the audio technica i think the rest are made with the intention of portable use so should do decently w/o separate amp. how is he going to use it?Wow! Really got a lot of choices. And seems I can get suggestions too from members over here.
The Momentum is not bad, 'coz I think the Audio Technica is too big.
From those suggestions, will he need an amplifier?

For SQ and resolution factors, the SBZ will be superior. There are couple of options you can play with to enhance your combat effectiveness. I can't remember all but Scout mode and crystal something greatly improve my environment awareness in my games.
You can may want to check out head-fi's SBZ thread for more information and tweaks.
Cheers!
Wa buy for mum... Is she ok with iem concept or not? As in the stuffing into ear, creating seal and stuff... Or would she be better off with a conventional ear bud? If ear bud can check out sennheiser mx models. Or... Apple earpods![]()
