Hi! Both Stereo stores have the audition unit for Audio Technica ATH-IM50. You can also try and compare with this the JVC FX3X and Sennheiser CX300II.

Which is more comfortable? FX3X or IM50?

I find both comfortable as they sit well in my ears. However, I find the JVC FX3X easier to wear rather than the over the ear design plus if I'm wearing my specs on, no ear loops get in the way.

Check out the following models, bro:

Marshall Mode EQ - with adjustable EQ switch for the bass, one button control for answering calls and skipping of music tracks

Audio Technica ATH-IM70 - good bass and clarity, good isolation, (if the controls are not too necessary)

JBL S200i - with mic and volume control, flat, tangle-resistant cable

How is JVC FX3X compared to Bose IE2?

Firstly, JVC FX3X is in-ear type while Bose IE2 is considered non-in-ear whereby there is greater noise isolation with the former. This then will depend on your preference, like in my case, I prefer those with good isolation so I can focus more to the music and will not hear noises say in the mrt or bus. But others are not comfortable with the ear buds really going inside their ears.

I also like the bass for the JVC FX3X, I actually find that it has fuller bass compared to Bose IE2. But then again, sound is rather personal.
