Oops i meant UM1 from westone, am actually looking for more clarity and slightly more bass than the S4 but not too much. Can the BA 200 be worn downwards instead of overear?

Forgot to add in too: Durability! looking for something durable too as i would preferably like to use it for 2-3years.

um1 doesn't have much bass..clarity yes.. durability is subjective to user's treatment and care..but they do last 2 years and beyond usually

The UM1 is discontinued also. It is replaced by the UM Pro 10. The S4 will have more bass as it is using dynamic driver. The BA200 can only be worn over ear. In fact, the UM1 and UM Pro 10 can only be worn over ear also. Durability will be subjected to the usage of the earphones. It is impossible to guarantee how long the earphones will last.

You can consider the JVC FX-T90. Most people find that it can produce crisp highs which might be suitable for classical music. If you would find it's bass too boomy, you can give the TDK BA200 and the Westone UM Pro 10 a try. Most would find that their bass are not as boomy as the JVC.

One of the popular choice would be the Sennheiser IE80. Know a few who actually upgrade to them from the Audio Technica CKS90/99. You can also consider the JVC FXZ200, which might sound closer to Audio Tech than Sennheiser.

Seems like you would prefer something with more mids then. Perhaps you can give the Shure SE425 a try. Personally used it for awhile, find that it does not have such a powerful bass that cover up the mids. You can also give the Westone W20 a try.

Hi there, you can consider the JVC FX3X. Which most people actually find that it has a good balance between strong bass and clear treble. If you prefer something with more bass than it, you can give the Fischer Audio Consonance a try.
