Hello DBS

We noticed the tnc for DBS Woman's Card was revised and uploaded at DBS website on 6/6/2016 after 6.30pm.

When will this revised tnc take effect?

If it is immediate, then it should only affect transactions made after 6/6/2016, ie the date the tnc was revised?

Why customers not informed via the website notice/email?

Thanks

Hi T H I N K,

Yes, there was an update to the T&Cs on our website on 7 June, however we have not made any changes to how additional bonus points for online purchases are awarded, the update was meant to provide greater clarity to all. As such, there was no need to send out service eDMs or SMS.

Online purchases - the updated version leaves less room for misinterpretation

with this statement in mind, does it mean those that will obtain points via dbs women card would also be eligible on dbs livefresh card?
being, livefresh card did the same update at the earlier stage.
please advise.

if the answer is no, the the statement doesnt gel so well.

Gd morning, are you asking if eligible purchases for points on the DBS Women's Card (e.g. 5x or 10x points), are also eligible for points on the DBS Live Fresh card (3x DBS points) ?

hi, yes you are right.

example a $10 purchase via abc.com is eligible for 5 or 10x due to no changes in term except for clarity

depending on which woman card, it also mean dbs livefresh and/or other dbs card should be eligible

if using dbs livefresh, it would mean 5% + 3x being the merchant follow the same guideline as per all dbs card and/or dbs women/livefresh

if this is confusing, then your information is confusing others instead.

on top of the above post, i refer to your last 2 post
a - for clarity
b - less room for misinterpretation

so is the merchant list changed? if yes, statement don't gel as many have posted that at the moment there is no change to the card
mechanics

its dbs decision to provide a up to date information on this platform or only via hotline?
perhaps that would be more relevant

That should be right, to use a more specific example, a $100 purchase on lazada.com (on-line merchant) will qualify for DBS points on the Women's card if that card is used; If the Live Fresh card is used, then that purchase will also qualify for 3x points +5% cash back - subject to the other T&C of each card, e.g. min spend

Is there any specific incident or merchant you're referring to?

i would say many have called hotline for this topic and cso would have responded the same to many.

just for clarity but no changes in merchant and/or issuance of point.

so i would say the general reply provided by cso would be same as livefresh since both have same set of t&c specifically for exclusion which many have pointed out?

Police report ...
perhaps you need to the phone receipt to gauge the value of the phone ...
no documents to prove, then no able to justify the claim ...
