Hi OCBC Team,

Have a noob qn for your iOCBC platform

May I know wad does your "Sold to Buyer" and "Brought from Seller" means under 'Trader Summary'?

Thanks lots

There is currently a total of 964,000 stocks that is waiting to be sold @ S$9.700.

Scenario 1
If Buyer is agreeable to purchase the stocks at S$9.700, Buyer's order will be processed immediately, He would have seen the following indicated in his iOCBC platform : Bought from Seller.
-Bought from Seller :The Buyer bought stocks directly from Seller at the Seller's price

Scenario 2:
If the Seller is looking to sell the stocks at S$9.69, Seller's order will be processed immediately. He would have seen the following indicated in his iOCBC platform: Sold to Buyer
- Sold to Buyer: The Seller sold stock directly to the Buyer at the Buyer's Price

Scenerio 3
If Buyer is looking to buy the stocks at a lower price of $9.690 or below, Buyer's order will be Queued

So far OCBC quite good on their customer service, and putting effort to get feedbacks. I think just give them some benefit of doubt, so far my experience is quite pleasant, just that the call center is understaff. At least better than Pinoy call center where u cannot comprehen what they speaking.

AGREED, although their reply was not immediate, they still tried their best to answer question here.

Why is salary paid by FAST, not eligible for the 1% bonus in the 360 Account? Why do you require us to use the antiquated GIRO system? What happens when GIRO is phased out?

The agent that I spoke to on the phone said my FAST salary payment is not eligible because "companies prefer GIRO" and would not manually give me the 1%. The only 'companies' that prefer a 3 day transfer period, are the banks, since interest isn't paid out.

today if i transfer say $3500 from my dbs account to my 360 account using FAST, i am able to choose the description as SALARY.. so those no salary can take advantage..

on the other hand, no idea why can't be accepted since its also considered cash flow into the 360 account.

For the 360 account,
Can someone advise me. .
If I maintained 50k inside for the whole month, what would the interest credited in on the 1st of next month? ? Eg.. The 0.05%?
Is it the same amount regardless of 30 days in a month or 31 days in a month? ?
Best if someone from ocbc can reply me. .
Thanks.

its just simple mathematics you duno how to calculate meh?? :s11:

[(50000*0.05%p.a.)/365 days]*no. days in that particular month = interest for that particular month.

Dear OCBC Team
Your promotion for BCIP "no minimum $5 charge per counter" will be ending soon by end June. Since you extended the promo, I have committed higher giro every month to buy few counters. I would like to move to OCBC BCIP fully, but I still use other competitor platform due to uncertainty if OCBC will again extend this promo or waive this charge permanently.

Again, it's ridiculous for us small investor that would like to slowly accumulate (e.g. $100 or $200) few big counters like Keppel Corp or OCBC or DBS with $5 charge per counter, which is encouraged anyway by this OCBC BCIP. I monitor every month that my cost is always higher than 0.3% due to rounding of number of shares, but that is still within tolerable limit.

Please consider extending this promotion or just waive this charge permanently. I will be more confident to be fully onboard in this BCIP.

I'm still waiting for SGX to implement the 100 lot size, then can bid BCIP with their $5 charge good bye.
