Hi sleeping_giant1820,

May we clarify if you are referring to the crediting of the bonus interest? Should you qualify for it, the bonus interest is only credited on the 7th business day of each month.

^XF

thank you for the reply. Yes I was referring to the bonus interest. I have yet to receive any this month although I have been receiving it for the past 15 months. This is strange.

Hi Team OCBC,

May I know how long does it take for OCBC Securities to process my account opening? And will a mail be sent to notify me about relevant information on User ID/ Password etc?

Hi there,

Account opening typically takes 1 to 2 weeks upon the receipt of the completed application form and required supporting documents.

Due to additional measures to minimise the further spread of COVID-19, you may expect some delays. Once your account is opened successfully, you will receive a welcome letter from us.

If you would like to check your account application status, please drop us a PM with your mobile number. We will get back to you.

Hi joesph,

Bonus interests will be credited on the 7th business day of the following month. Do allow the bank some time to compute the interest.

Thank you.

Hi OCBC, thanks...

Kindly advise also on the MCB rights for CPFIS account.
Can I do a full subscription plus excess?

Apologies for the wait.
You will be able to do a full subscription plus excess.

---

As for the cash top up:

Top up via INB/MB can be done, if acceptance is done via these platform.

For manual acceptance submission, you can enclose a cheque. However do take note of the cheque clearing timeline to avoid any delay.

Hi there,

The successful MCB applied under the CPFIS account will be transferred to your CDP account. Please ensure that the CDP account number provided is correct.

Hi,

The service fee will be charged with effect from the birthday month.

So if your 26th birthday is on 9 August 2021, you will need to maintain the minimum average balance in August 2021 onward. Otherwise, the fall below fee will be charged in end August.

Hi OCBC,

I am trying to buy a USD denominator share in SGX. My giro linked bank account is in SGD.If I leave the settlement currency in USD when buying the shares, will the trade go through and auto deduct and convert the amount I buy in USD into SGD and deduct from my SGD bank account?

Because when I change the settlement currency to SGD in my buy screen, it does not help me convert the buy price from USD to SGD.

Hi OCBC,

I did not get the spend bonus in May for my spend in Apr which is more than S$500 (S$509.46). I called the customer hotline and I was told the following 2 transactions were not counted as they were posted in May:

28/04/2020 Shopee - Singapore SINGAPORE SG 75.02 -
28/04/2020 STARHUB PREPAID SINGAPORE SG 10.00

I can understand if the txns were in the last day or two of the mth, but the above txns were on 28Apr (Tues) and the next few days were weekdays. So it's hard to believe these tnxs are not posted in time.

I would like to appeal for these txns to be counted so I can get the spend bonus interest. Can you help? I asked the CS but it seems like no use. Thank You.

Hi there,

Fees & charges can be found here: https://www.ocbc.com/iwov-resources...estments/cpfia_schedule_of_charges_201112.pdf

Do you have access to Internet / Mobile Banking? You can subscribe to both Rights and MCB there.

Log in via Internet Banking
1. Choose 'Investments & insurance' at the top menu
2. Choose 'Retirement portfolio'
3. Choose 'Corporate actions'

Log in via Mobile Banking app
1. Tap on the left menu
2. Choose 'Invest'
3. Choose 'Corporate actions'
