for the 360 savings account, did anyone also didn't receive the interest for 'save $500/ month' category?

OCBC Team - It's frustrating to learn that despite being a priority customer of the bank, it takes many follow-ups to receive a response from the OCBC pricing team. Even the RM is unable to assist and has not responded to my questions, leaving me with no choice except to transfer my business to another bank.

1. Login on the mobile banking app
2. Click on the menu
3. Profile & Settings
4. Manage PayNow
5. PayNow name (displayed to sender)

I have changed it but whenever I use PayAnyone to make a transfer, my full name will appear on others phone. Any idea why?

Thanks for the clarification!

You will only be able to change your PayNow name (as displayed to someone who is sending you funds).
When you make the funds transfer, you won't be able to change the name in the notification received by the recipient.

Oh. My full name will appear regardless what name I put in my paynow account?

Hi lycanboy,

That is correct.

The PayNow name applies only to how it is displayed to a sender.

For eg.
Tan XX John is your bank registered full name.

You can change the PayNow name to be displayed as John Tan.
When someone searches for your number/NRIC (whichever is linked to your bank account) to make a transfer to you, they will see 'John Tan' displayed.

You won't be able to change how your name is displayed when you make the funds transfer though. Your full bank registered name will be reflected.

It finally got transferred at 1pm. I recall my previous recurring transfer took place before 8am.

For my current recurring transfer, is it going to be 1pm each time or only this time due to today being the 1st day of the month?

Hey there

There is no specific time I'm afraid. If you set up a recurring transfer/ payment, the deduction can take place at anytime during the day

My android phone is an old model so I can't install banking apps and anyway, I access ocbc banking via online desktop most of the time as dun like using banking apps on mobile in general.

I use my ipad mini2 with ios 12.5.5 to install my banking apps and they all work fine except for ocbc banking app.
although i can log into the app, the 'Manage Onetoken' settings does not appear and I can't activate it for use.

My queries are:

1. Is the ocbc app not compatible for use with ipad mini2? If so, this means I need to buy a new mobile phone just so to install and use the token which really doesn't make financial sense.

2. After 31Mar22, will the SMS OTP to access ocbc online banking website be turned off since only Onetoken will be used?

Hi heartywarrior,

The mobile banking app is not compatible with the iPad.
You can log in via Internet Banking on the browser instead.
You will be able to continue using SMS-OTP to log in to Online Banking even after the hardware token is discontinued.
