Hi, I am currently trying to replace my black 2Wire modem with the N65U. After connecting the N65U to the ONT, I could not get the QIS (Quick internet setup) to work. Can someone post the configuration of their QIS for me to follow?

PS: I am on 100mbps Singtel fiber plan with DV and Mio tv. TIA :D

I followed everythere alr. My physical connections are correct, just that the QIS cannot detect my network at all.

Only port #1 of the ONT is active. Make sure you didn't connect to any other ports by mistake and remember to set the ISP profile to Singtel-MIO and reboot both ONT & N65U.

Yes, i only connected it to port 1 of the ONT, rebooted both the devices alr. I started the ONT first den the N65U, I don't know how to carry on from now onwards.

OK, I recalled that M1 users using the M1-Fiber preset on firmware v3.0.0.x.x encounter sort of 'bug' and need to :

1.) Enable Port-forwarding.
2.) Disable Hardware Accelerator

before internet is working. You may want to try these setting to see if that worked for you !

Hi, I tried both methods but it doesn't work :s11: I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and enabling port forward on ASUS RT-N65U firmware version 3.0.0.4.342. And btw is the MAC address important also? I don't know what to set, I just clicked on the 'MAC clone' button and proceeded.

Are you able to manual setup your Internet settings?

Under WAN

Basic Config

WAN Connection Type ~ Automatic IP
Enable WAN ~ Yes
Enable NAT ~ Yes
Enable UPnP ~ Yes

WAN DNS Settings

Connect to DNS server automatically ~ Yes

Under LAN > IPTV

Port

Select ISP Profile ~ SingTel MIO (LAN port 3 ~> 2Wire WAN port for DV, LAN port 4 ~> MIO STB)

Any difference if I connect it your way? I am currently ONT->ASUS->2WIRE->PC. Will give this method a try to see if it can work.

These settings that you mentioned are the default settings when i booted up the router. I didn't change any of it. :/

Already set to mio preset, this set just came back from RMA. Previous owner RMAed it. lol

Oh, you got it from pmmo99? Hmm, can't think of any other suggestion, wait for maylyn's further comments -- he is related to Asus if i'm not wrong...

Updates: I am still unable to detect any WAN connections when plugged into the ONT. I am currently in taiwan until end of march. If there are no solutions then I'll just RMA it when I come back. Thanks for the help guys.

I am also having the same no Internet Access from Asus N65U but my MIO TV and MIO Voice are working.
I used Singtel-MIO profile and my connection is:

ONT--->ASUS-----(3)-->2Wire (for MIO Voice)
. . . . . . . . . |-----(4)-->MIO Settop box
. . . . . . . . . |-----(1)-->PC (No internet access)
. . . . . . . . . +----(2)-->PC (No internet access)

Any help is welcome. Thank you.
