Sometimes paying more does not mean better, therefore I'm asking if there is a difference in performance for the SSD if I am buying a more expensive brand.

Which brand and model u comparing with?
looking at opening post, at $2.5k budget, should try and fit in a 1080 card and maybe a fan cpu cooler.
CD drive can save $$, just buy a 8gb usb from cybermind then download the win10 installation into the usb for installation. The Win10 cdkey, up to you where to purchase, online or from shop which is OEM keys.
HDD for WD black, unless really needed that $200 can easily get same capacity for WD blue and the aftermarket cpu cooler, hyper 212 or anything u like. Just my 2cents![]()
Yea thats makes sense, btw, isit necessAry to get a aftermarket cpu cooler for something i wont OC? Will it usually overheat during normal usage?
I wish i could go for a 1080 too, but i dont really know where to shave off for an additional 400 to get one. Mayb can suggest.
.ended up buying from tradepac,
got a sharkoon dg7000 instead of a nzxt s340
ripjaws ram instead of crucial ram
evga 650 gq gold psu instead of corsair cs650 psu
and added a asus PCE-AC56 wifi card
kept the msi gtx1070 gaming x for the fans
total spent 2340 for entire rig, not sure if could be cheaper. TBH wanted a refund after paying for the win10 oem, as my friend could help me with flashdrive craeation. tradepac boss wouldnt allow any refunds, could have saved another 150.
pretty good experience for first time building, just abit issue with win10 recognising the gpu.
thanks to all bros for answering my queries and giving me suggestions, appreciate all of your help alot. Just wondering where do i go to for EVGA psu warranty, i cant seem to find any singapore distro for it
.
Wow u mean your friend can give you his win 10 for free?
Anyway for parscal GPU shouldn't be any issues. U can just download nvidia driver to get it to work.
As for EVGA, I dun think u need to register and our local distro is Tech Dynamic.
But case they reco nice meh? But PSU is good.
case comes with 3 fans, looks pretty sturdy bt abit spacing abit tight for a newb building, i ended up bending my chassi fan pins pretty badly because of the wire positioning and length(URGH!). As well as case usb to mobo wire was rather short and they combined usb 3 and usb 2 connection points together, end up i could only fit the usb 3 points, usb 2 points could not be inserted at all.
im not sure if they gave me a much cheaper PSU than what was requested though(superflower leadex gold). Bt at that point i was so confused and just agreed without googling.
for rma of psu, i can just bring down to tech dynamic without registering ah?
lmao that casing...u should have asked them for another case similar to s340 but quality or build is some where there.
well i dun think so is cheaper one cos some for the EVGA PSU uses SF parts as well or the other way, cant rmb. u can search around this hwc to find out more on EVGA, and its widely reco by most builder who had purchased parts from amazon.
well from what i know from my friend he just bring down and do a exchange for his SF psu, so i think it applies to EVGA psu as well.
ohhh but i dont think this evga model is made by superflower, its however made by FSP, do they still do warranty for non-superflower models?
i kind of bought one of their bundles whereby it comes with a sharkoon t28 case and superflower leadex 650 gold, both out of stock and wanted me to top up 95 for a s340, and swapped to the evga psu, i didnt really want to fork out another 95 for just the case alone.
