yea my friend told me to tell him a few weeks before i buy nxt time so he can help me get online, 800+ sgd for a 1070 feels veri chor

Should have gotten the palit 1070 dual fan at 555 with coupon code more wuhua.
Some parts I think you can save more money if you go with this.
1 or 2 tb blue WD HDD
1070 dual fan palit at lazada for 555 with voucher code.
I5 4460 with budget h81 mobo - 300+
A cheap tecware chassis - around 39
Fsp aurum 550 watts 80plus gold PSU go for non modular to save cost - about 89
RAM 8gb Kingston instead of 16 GB - around 50.

Cdkey win 10 buy from Reddit $20+ then download ISO win 10 and put on thumbdrive to install with the cdkey

Get all from online with coupon code except for mobo CPU can save a lot overall.
But you already bought liao just enjoy your rig ba. BTW trade PAC must have recommend you other parts probably to clear their stock.

Should have went PC themes if you were to get all parts from SLS for a newbie. Tradepac can chop carrot if they know you newbie de.

Wa tats alot of savings, im aiming to build something futureproof therefore the excessive prices, however now i try my msi 1070, seems like i having lower fps than whats stated online. cry.

Ya lor they try to recommend bt i insisted, other than those really out of stock. should have walked around more before being hasty.

im using a samsung s24f350f monitor.

if u look back in early replies in this thread already got ppl tell u change the graphic card to buy online .... but threadstarter somehow lost interest halfway missed opportunity


^the lower framerate is because your cpu is non overclock .... still at 3.x ghz region while overclock users run their chip at 4.6ghz ....
i7 hyperthreading increase multithreaded performance but not single thread processing speed

I was swayed by the "better fans" claim of the msi gpu, since im not going to be upgrading that frequently(hopefully), then got something that (hopefully) last longer, painful 300 extra.

Ohh i didnt know cpu thread processing speeds affect gpu, always thought they run seperately. -facepalm-
