It's your baht. Can try Pathumwan Princess which I recall is just on top of MBK mall and connected to National Stadium BTS. More budget would be Lub.D which is directly opposite National Stadium BTS as well. They are also about 5-10min walk to Siam Discovery and Siam Center which are massive malls by themselves. Siam Paragon is just beside them.

pathumwan princess is abt 120sgd superior room 34m2 no breakfast.
if breakfast think is abt 150sgd per nite ...

Considering the time and money spent to travel to and fro your hotel, it may be more worth it to get a slightly more expensive hotel at a more convenient location.

At this rate, might want to consider lub.d which is right next to national stadium BTS. Rooms are smaller but it's quite new and reasonable priced.

yup. muz consider if u buy alot of things, then have to q up to wait for cab if at shopping mall, or if you on the roadside, must flag cab, most cab would always say traffic jam, then quote 200 to 400b ... in the end, not worth liao ,,,

omg ... issit bcoz not muh ppl inside
took once before, not much ppl inside, maybe abt 50% or lesser ppl inside the train ... ?
Could be security related also. Now all departing and arriving city line are screened by security at terminal stations before passengers get on board.

Take the A1 bus to Mo Chit BTS. From there to Phatya Tai BTS and then cab or Tuk Tuk to your hotel. If you are on backpack, can take the motorcycle taxi for much less money.

There are also buses that go to bangkok central from dm but again depends how large your luggage is as their buses not really suitable for large luggage. The A1 bus is more forgiving.

Alternatively, can just direct cab from airport.
