Could be security related also. Now all departing and arriving city line are screened by security at terminal stations before passengers get on board.

wow .... think lidat take cab shld be more faster ?
their airport train station there, the station very high ...

See how. If luggage is almost empty when going there, no problem with escalators and stairs. And when packed to the max, most will just cab to the airport anyway.

Next trip simply going to bring a 20" luggage as carryon and then overload it to check in during flight back. Might also bring the saf duffel bag just in case got unexpected deals. As long dont exceed the purchased luggage weight, can check in as many bags as can carry.

If you intend to make full use of bts, take note most stations the escalator is go down one and elevator may not be on the side you want.

hope so ba ... the main international airport long q haha ...
but still ok lah ...
There is more then 1 immigration zone. Just avoid the 1st one that is nearest arrivals as a lot of tour groups use those.

JJ has a friday market which opens from late afternoon all the way till 11pm there. Only about 15% of shops are open then.

DMK...I went to the taxi queue on far left side...many people but still clears quite fast...

You mean there's another queue called IMM? What's the difference?

I think I saw a big "TAXI" sign when I first exited immigration. That's the one? Wanted to first get the tourist map as recommended in the forum and was pointed to the Tourism ministry counter. Then when I asked about taxi, was pointed to far left of airport not the one I saw originally.

Anyway, DMK arrival hall like Penang, Kuching kind...very cannot make it. Was surprised when I entered their departure hall....Almost like our T1. Haha....

DM is a converted military airport. Suvarnabhumi has the most amenities and Airport Rail.
