I'm using MIJ 6 door Panasonic. Ultra huge capacity. Chose this over the more hi tech Hitachi coz lesser things to fail.

Looking to get a new fridge, already have my eyes on the Mitsubishi Folio series as it's multi doors, but the hefty price tag of $3000 is quite a turn off. Anyone has any other fridge model to recommend? Preferably multi doors, if not 3 doors.

avoid multi doors if u want more volume. the separation panels used up too much internal volume. u prolly get one that has the physical size of a 500ltr capacity but gives only 400ltr capacity.

2 or 3 doors would be nice.

I think I'll end up only utilizing 50% of the space :s22: looks mega huge

We have to feed minimum 4 people everyday :s13:

Yeah I did the comparison:

http://gaincity.com/product/mitsubishi-fridge3-dr-1
3 doors Gross 418 / Net 369

http://gaincity.com/product/mitsubishi-fridge5-dr
5 doors Gross 538 / Net 381

Price difference $2000 :s13: Guess I'll go with the 3 doors one then.

I'm using this:

sg_RSH5SUSL1-XSS_001_Front

http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/home-appliances/refrigerators/side-by-side/RSH5SUSL1/XSS

Can't remember how much exactly i got it for but should be between $1400 to $1500. They gave me a free fan and microwave oven.

If you have kids or itchy hand people at home, please lock the display. Someone changed the temperature of the normal fridge on the right side to 6 degrees and my drinks took a long time to become cold and some food actually went bad faster than expected.

we had this with the water dispenser. french door(side by side) ish bad design i think... althou the volume ish big, 500+ltr, the center separation panel prevents u from putting anything wide. like a bigger cake box, without much rearrangement of stuff.

and u need to be near a water source that has a tap with long mouth. else the dispenser tube very difficult to fix.

there is oso the panasonic 4dr which is actually 3 compartments. NDR 513.

u waste a bit of shelf space on the door separation but the internal space ish not compromised. overall a few cm wider and deeper than the mitsubishi folio, but 513 ltr gross gives 432ltr net. $1900+ on qoo10. inverter oso.

folio ish 65 x 70 x 183cm
NDR513 ish 75 x 77 x 183cm.

very possible for mitsubishi oso. depends on volume.

2 dr, 300+ ltr would be that range. 400+ltr can go at ~$1000.

After using multi door, I won't go back to normal 2-door top freezer fridge. Top freezer usually too small. Pana fridge has one that is bottom freezer and the space is designed very sensibly.
