I had saw someone posted in carousel to sell of his gaming rig. So i wanna to know is this systen worth to buy?

yup this is what is told me. But overall his spec highend right? Cos i looking for long term usage. So The mobo i had checked all of current brand is just cover up with 3yrs. And gpu also 4yrs. review on the gtx was a better base clock speed.

in carousell name nope. But however price is ok for me. if the unit is worth it. plus is a high end gaming rig. Of cos i know Asus gaming mobo is maximus. But warranty just 3yrs. of cos maybe after few year later new parts came out. maybe upgarde. But resale value not so high if the warranty about to end...

You can get a 6 core 12 thread i7-6800k than a 4 core 4 thread i5-7600k, x99 board, gtx 1080 and retain or exceed the rest of the specs with spare change to keep.

2 extra physical cores, 8 extra logical cores.

What do you think?

U need to define highend. Spec wise it looks fantastic but is it an overkill for u? That's the main thing u should be tackling. Fit for purpose and not oversizing is important.

For that, you can take down the accolade of it being a high end PC as a full package.

Mid-end, definitely nowhere near high-end except maybe for the GPU.

You should buy what you need and not worry about the resale value in a few years time.

At nearly $3K, you can build a nice rig customized to your own needs. The more important question is really what do you want to use the PC for. The guys here will be more than happy to recommend you parts.

Otherwise, AMD's Ryzen lineup is also around the corner which is set to compete well with Intel's Broadwell-E.
If the platform is competitive in performance and price, you can fit more graphics horsepower in your bill but start planning the rest of your system already.

he dont recommended me or what. is i saw his thread in carousel so i when to pm him and ask. and my friends also told me his rig not bad. can consider. so right now im thinking or should wait for new ryan chit set. Plus right now my own rig up the lorry already.. overall that guys customized i like it also.. Is not bad and nice thot. Even i bought from him, i will swap his CPU to 7700k or whatever...
