Most authentic one now is the one at Holland Drive. That brother is the one who helped out the father at the original stall first at Margaret Drive then at Meiling Street, and now Holland Drive.

The rest are owned by this brother Niven who was never a part of the original stall
So many self-proclaimed Sin Kee cheeken lice. Everyone claims to be the original, but no buttie really noe who's the real one. o_O

Already stated in article
The late father founded the stall

And.no
This brother DOES NOT own the other stalls

And no one mentioned
The stall opened by other brother was MichelleLin

The original was opened by the late founder

He sold name and stall.etc to another and the new owner been operating and opening new stalls

The brothers have nothing to do with these stalls I believe

Think one fishball noodle was in that pic, outside corner facing carpark. The duck noodle was like a stall or two next to it, and was good also. The other one was on the back side of it but somewhere in the middle. There was one or two char kway tiao stall there also.

Remembered cause they were cheap and good then in those days. Simple pleasure. Best to go during tea break after lunch where there were not much people there. Quietly sit and enjoy the food.

And cause carpark right in front only. As good as free parking during off peak when not much people. Can see. Slowly eat no rush. :s22:

if you notice, most chicken rice shops always have the name that include the word "kee"

is there some significance in that word? is it synonymous with chicken rice? why all like to kee kee kee kee?
I think started from HK or from the Cantonese. A lot of stalls or even shops usually use their surname follow by 记 (kee)

Even Mcdonalds is called M 记 in HK

They are hired to be the face of the stall because they are the sons of the original owners. They aren't the owners now.

Agree with Tian Tian being one of the worst.
Don't understand the hype at all.
I can bear with the cold chicken, but the sweet sauce all over ruined it.
It's on the Japanese tourist guide for Singapore food or something.

Cos its MichelleLin
See so many tourists there
Even open on Sundays
But all the hawkera should be happy
Cos they open on Sundays means the hawkers also open on Sundays and hopefully can take advantage of the customers and make money
