Its easy to indulge to gain instant gratification. Reverse that thinking to gain instant gratification without indulging

age? diet, u do low-carb or keto type?
u do health check bo doctor tell u meh?
Why do you think you have problem leh?

Maybe abit more exercise to get HDL up. LDL got 2 types, big and small, but all lumped under one number. Bigger LDL ones are not harmful, but small ones are. And your triglycerides are pretty low, i.e. the blood not fatty. imho, HbA1c, BP first, then cholesterol levels will naturally follow.

Believe me. Doctors can be outdated.

TS watch yt videos by Dr Gil Carvalho Nutrition made simple channel.
The heart specialist i have encountered seems to gain weight every time I see him with the patient I accompanied. I think he will need to take those drugs he always prescribed for others soon.

Is not doctors are outdated. Is this treatment plan is standard of care. No doctor will deviate from standard of care without a strong reason. If there is a deviation in standard of care, he will likely discuss with you. It's his job to layout the available drugs for managing your condition. Nothing wrong on his part.

Go and see a doctor to get advice lah. I also did that. The doctor asked me to take another blood test and the results came back better and it was only 3 weeks difference. So I no need to be on medication as my LDL was high but now 122, was 169 the first time I took the blood test. During that 3 weeks I cut down on eating red meat and fried food.

So diet was the key for me I think. My total cholesterol is 213 but doctor say is because my HDL is high so not a concern.

eat more sardines, salmon, mackerels.....those oily fish.
No fried chicken, fried sotong, fried banana etc....
Can also try the Weetbix with lowering cholesterol effect....basically an oat or wheat cereal

Moderate exercise - dont want to KO cause high cholestrol tends to have high BP. And exercise too much will cause your LDL to rise also.
Exercise too much how come LDL will rise?
