Is it possible to stay in master room during HIP?
Yes, both the toilets
Nope. Just stay in another roomIs it possible to stay in master room during HIP?
My mom in on wheelchair, even if have toilets below also very troublesome if in the middle of the night need to wheel down.
Kind of thankful the purchase was done at right time and I did a full renovation works including toilets.
When they did water testing, I also requested morning test 1 toilet, noon test one, I cannot have both tested at the same time due to my mom's immobility.
Good thing is when I leave home or come home, I can use the toilet downstairs... hehe, my sister and some others take water from the toilets wash car. One uncle practically went to every portable toilet at HIP site to shower and go home.
My side now resuming some HIP units. Think these are teachers or people who cannot take leave during the actual HIP and has to wait for school holidays before doing HIP. The HIP people are flexible within means for special cases.
Down side is... the workers use the lifts heavily, do allocate like 10mins more to your travelling time. You will see the lift stop at 2, 3, 4, 5, .... 14. Then door open, you see workers inside with cement, tiles tools, then you got wheelchair, no need go in, wait for next.
My Mom stays upstairs always
The workers got do water drainage/gradient test in your presence after completing the floor tiling?
TS, how long did the worker take to replace the laundry pipe holder with the ' almost useless' horizotal design?
I did not opt in, so my HDB was not touched. So no need to move out.
Oh, I thought it will be done within the 10 allocated days..My side haven't start yet
10th day the last day........2nd water filling test, final painting and touch up works

I hide in office from 9-4 so not very affected, the issue is the lift. They use the passenger lift to transport equipment, cement, etc.... my waiting time increases to additional 10-15 mins each time I need to use the lift. Sometimes lv 1 going up almost every floor can stop. Sometimes the workers also call the lift to go down 1 level, but rare...Bare with the noise?
so shiny!! the tiles not slippery when wet meh??
