anyone bought a U7G 75 inch, saw on the specs seems like IPS panel instead of VA on 65 and 55 inch
Yes U7G 75" is using IPS panel. I only found out after I bought it lol. My TV is placed in a bright environment (living room) so I'm ok with the black level. Also note that U7G is using Full Array Local Dimming (FALD). I tested the backlight setting and turning it on seems to improve the black level. Definitely go for the 65" VA panel if you need the deeper blacks.

Local Asia u7g version no 120hz nor HDMI 2.1 ...

They come out with u7h with both 120hz hdmi2.1 but costs like 50% more just for that bloody feature they should have included like in US version.

This is pure BS to milk Asia customers .

U7g got 6.6 Lazada sale price 1038 for 65 inch today after coupon . Bloody steal .
Cheapest qled you can find for 65 cause price here all marked up like crazy.

I ordered this yesterday based on limited research the price point was right to me and I definitely trust Hisense over Prism. I don't have much experience with televisions but will post my review from as a layman.
2 month review: Ordered the 65 inch U7G with soundbar. Customer service was exceptional, whatsapp will be replied very quickly and there was an issue with installation but the company is external and Hisense customer service was quick to help me settle. Overall very satisfied with the TV and soundbar but I have to admit that it will definitely be lousier than OLED but very very satisfied with the price I paid and would highly recommend because of the customer service and freebies.

OLED is still too pricey now .Easily 3k for 65 inch almost 2x of 65 QLED tv .

I feel not worth it cause high chance of burn in also unless you filthy rich and want the best gaming experience .

I would rather for 75 or 85 inch non OLED at same price.

Checked with Hisense SG on U7H and U8H, similar to what others shared, its IPS panel. and contrast ratio is 1400:1.
Then i ask them U7G 55" and 65" which is VA panel and has better contrast ratio, it seems that U8H isnt a upgrade. They replied i think you are right. maybe need to double check with manufacturer.
Then they said thats the only 2 points but they got alot more features on the 2022 series.. 😅
Isit still worth to get U7H or U8H?
Maybe when their Showroom open at Tampines Courts Megastore to know the difference

The 85” at $3000+ is amazing
Use the LG and Prism equivalents as your benchmark, there are alternatives under 3k, then see the Sony X85J, which is one step up in the 4k+ range and see if it is significantly better..
Picture quality and interface as well as any other items on your own checklist.
