which model were you using for the hisense soundbar ? i realized they have removed all the listings for their soundbar from their website.

.
I was using the HS212F. Oh yes you are right! They removed all the soundbar, i just checked out their site. Maybe they resolve there is issue with all the soundbar. Cause they exchange for me a new one and it still persist. Lol

Tbh, i feel the support dont seems to understand their products very well or rather havent tested out much on the product.

It randomly have this issue where it will have distorted sound, then goes silence for awhile and distorted sound again before returning back to normal.
At the same time i realised the soundbar display showing PCM. Even though i already configured to use Pass Through.

initially i thought of buying their soundbar as well, but could not find much reviews on it, but anyway their soundbar back on sale at their website but only the hs219 model available, the one that you had hs212f is out of stock. haha , maybe really unable to resolve the problem.

can i ask apart from the prob that you had, is it still a decent soundbar ? thought of getting hs219, haha

Haha oh soundbar back again? Hmmm i would say the soundbar is soso, clarity not very good. Limited option to set for soundbar. But the setting can easily set via TV setting.

Im not too sure if the problem might be cause by the TV having eARC and soundbar only support ARC. You can try if you dont mind. One of the good thing i feel is Hisense after support, so long you are able to justify your issue, they will make the change for you.

I ended up buying a Sony HT G700 with eARC, dolby atmos... lol

I think they do have some sample sets for their soundbar at COURTS Mega Store, if not so troublesome, go offline and try out their soundbar might be a safer option to see if it suits you

Was looking at xt8500 n g700 .. looks like g700 is a better buy but have not gone to listen to it.. the lg s80 is quite good if u can stretch your budget. Alternatively the Comex has a Samsung sale for the soundbar

thinking of getting the U8H 65" for 9.9 sale, is it a good buy? currently using LG 55SM8600, want to upgrade the TV for 120Hz as I have a PS5... trying to compare it to the TCL C835, not sure which one is better...

I just received my U8H 65" inch a few days ago. So far so good, just a few issues I was wondering if other users also faced:

- Screen can be really bright in the evening. Which setting do you use to turn down the brightness without affecting overall picture quality?

- The reds tend to be very saturated in "Standard" picture mode. Any specific settings to get accurate colours?

- I find that the spfdif "Pass Through" mode can be a little wonky at times. My old AV receiver has issues receiving Dolby Digital / DDP passthrough from the TV. DTS works fine. Not sure whether it is TV side or AV receiver side issue?

Sound is average. A soundbar or AV system will definitely improve the experience.

I think it's quite value for money as compared to the TCL C835.

For myself I set light dimming to high . Flim maker mode n that works for me .. soundbar set to voice clarity which maybe harsh / sharp so still messing around with sound bar setting n tv to play well.

contrast setting I set to mid
