Just realized SG's U7G does not have the HDMI 2.1 (120Hz) input features of the US's U7G set. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

I din know that with Hisense TV, using Mio TV set top box cannot put eARC to play soundbar as that will result in Lip sync issue.

Still trying to figure out can do individual sound setting for Different HDMI port for Netflix and Mio TV.

A bit leychay to switch off eArc up thats what it is at the moment.

Wonder if its the cable that I using is HDMI2.0 instead of HDMI2.1

In case anyone still watch Media corp like CNA, the free antenna that comes with Hisense is not as good as those supplied during the digital TV introduction.

Hisense free antenna can only receive 2 out of 6 channels.

Anyone knows of any website where we can find the specs for local hisense sets?
I asked the customer service of hisense sg.
Even the local u6h is different from their US counterparts. Eg. It uses IPS instead of VA panels.
Makes it tough for us to decide what to buy after reading reviews where the specs are specific to US sets

use the NZ or Australian review.
screen wise and os is similar.

Except The singapore specs is dumb down one step further.

i.e the U8H does not come with a rear subwoofer

Cherry-picked specs, so not comprehensive:
https://hisense.sg/product-category/smart-tv/
US's U-series sets use VA panel while ours use IPS panel (except 85" U7H and U7G).

As mentioned earlier .....
Expected!

Inferior non-US model uses IPS panel (vs superior VA panel), ViDAA OS (vs superior Google TV OS), fewer dimming zones (100+ vs 500+), worse contrast, 300 nits dimmer, no subwoofer (for countries like Singapore), no Dolby Vision gaming, no Apple Airplay, Homekit, Chromecast, use less power and weigh less, but cost more! πŸ˜ͺ

Should've advertised local set as U8HSG or U8HQ instead of U8H (meant for US model). πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

I'd rather buy the TCL C835. 😏
