Can we even depends on rtings or those online review sites ? Their specification might not be the same as ours .
Only down point is why they didn’t use google tv . U6k is google . Why u7k is vidaa
True. Our local Hisense variants may very well be different from Rting's US variants. Then again, it's still a good comparision between models of the same region i.e. in US, it's VA panel vs VA panel while ours may be IPS vs IPS. LOL

Yes 55” .
I also didn’t expect to pay extra . But no choice in need of the tv and dun want waste more time so agreed with the $150 .
$150 to swap tv and get a new 3yr warranty seems quite reasonable .

now waiting them come replace it only .
got yr u7k?
let us know how it fares against u8h :)

Does anyone knows the tv remote control is under warranty? Coz my laser tv remote control "up" button is not functioning well. I will contact the customer service and see how it goes.

I don't mind get the replacement from shopee but no sure whether it work or not.

I contacted the Customer service. Told me remote control is covered under 6 months warranty. Mine already going to 1 year. Told me it cost about $45 to replace.

I saw shopee selling hisense brand wan less than $20.

My experience with past tv remote is they will work as long it is the same brands. My old Sony remote can work on both older and newer models of the tv I owned.

My u8h appeared one black straight line. Let’s see what Hisense will do.

Update: offered u7n(2024 model) as replacement.
