have booked a couple of times using Cheaptickets

our last booking was on Qatar to Bali. Then Qatar stopped flights to Bali. Qatar did not inform us even though we r on its FFP. They said they informed all agents for them to inform us. Cheaptickets also did not inform us. Luckily we found out in advance. initially Cheaptickets was confused & claimed they need Qatar to provide alternatives. But eventually, we managed to re-book our flights with Qatar on earlier dates (alternative was to get a refund). Quite responsive. Luckily our Bali hotels were pay on site type.

i guess there is always this risk with OTA.

shopback for expedia or zuji air ticket booking is only 1 or 2% , like no difference. if cheapticket have good coupon to apply, can consider ...

How or when can I select seats?

Tough, but may be possible, but gotta be patient.

If by November you don't see new promotions out by Cathay/SQ, chances are, there wouldn't be another promotion as January next year is quite close to CNY and the crowds typically will start peaking...

there's a tiger air promo from 12cents.. can check it out.. do u have ntuc member (the one that needs to pay $9 per mth)? for ntuc member, there are sometime promo in feb and it is 50% discount.. quite good deal..

i got my tickets during the June promo for ntuc mumbers for this coming oct @ $133 per person 2-way incl. 30kg for 1pax.
