Dec, they would always block out ...
since demand is alot more higher than supply

however this year tiger have a one-off promo (usually would not happen)
during their ndp promo, they have 119sgd to taipei , only for one flight ...
even if end dec xmas or new year period, price is 191sgd

perhaps next year can look forward to good promo ..

Either Nov or Dec will be fine for me, as long as weather is cooling there. Today's Scoot's promo to Taipei is only till end Oct 2017.. damn.

Oh wait, this is HK forums.. sorry for OT. =:p

wah dede and calkel also here.. really is pro traveler. im checking out end dec promo

Seldom would have dec promo ...
the last time when i saw cathay promo was about 398 or 448 for end dec ...
however transit was required

that time that promo, bangkokwas 178sgd can fly end dec to early jan
hong kong was selling very very fast, since is end dec ...
since scoot has ceased its operations in end oct, jetstar and tiger very less likely have promo for end dec ... you might want to check out full fledge see is it more worth than flying budget ?

during offpeak, cathay and sq is around 268 to 278 for the recent promo ...

typhoon has hit hong kong...
many flights being cancelled ...
For example, SQ flight supposed to fly 8.40am, have been rescheduled to fly at 2am tonight ...

For cx 6.50am flight, they have rescheduled to 6+ pm ...

doubt airline would lower their fare due to this typhoon incident ...

Just booked 15-18 feb on Jetstar. Timing all damn good, 9am depart SIN and 2pm depart HKG. $190 each.

But Jetstar damn smelly now, all payment methods also got service fee. Didn't bother to pay with credit card cause it's $19/person.

Jetstar promo average price is about 120+ to 152 sgd ...

u can use voucher to make payment if u wanna save 4sgd for offline payment.
If you have added in checked in luggage, price is good at 190sgd

else would say Cathay and SQ would be more worth , if you are ok with the timing, which I personally wont mind , as I really need the 30kg luggage...

Singapore Airline
Sin to HKG 15feb 1505 - 1850
HKG to Sin 18feb 0905 - 1305
Price: $ 269.70
Free 30kg checked in luggage, meals on board, tv entertainment
For other timing, need to top up

If based on ur timing, around 8+ or 9+am sin to hkg
back is 1410 or 1545 depart hkg to sin
price is $309

Cathay Pacific from $ 276 onwards.
Timing not so good
Sin to HKG 0115 or 0650 or 1630
HKG to Sin 0150 or 1135 or 1425 or 1610 or 2000

Yup, mine included 20kg baggage which is more than enough for a 4 day trip. The value bundle was quite worth it but no point eating the inflight meal since it's such a short flight. The timing beats SQ and Cathay though, cause I checked the SQ equivalent ticket is at least $300. That timing you suggested is basically 1.5 days gone from your trip already.

Then should be good promo :)
supposed your base price should be about 150sgd if your 20kg luggage is two way ... jan hotel should be cheaper rite ?

checked on mar travel period, 4 stars hotel only about 100sgd per nite
checked on nov travel period, their price was about 200+sgd per nite

Got any recommended 4star hotel that's quite new? Currently shortlisted this hotel called Xi. Best if it's around 100-120/night.

Depends on ur travel date.
u can use ota to do a search...

never really keep track of hk hotels.
most focus on taipei and bangkok, cox go there quite often ...
normally would stay 4* hotel, if the location is good, around mongkok jordan ymt tst location ... plus price is around 100 to 120sgd per nite for two ...

sometimes novotel nathan price also quite good
have booked before one nite 130+sgd with breakfast for two ...
