Just to check, do we need HLE for 2nd appt (BTO)? Because my HLE is going to expire in Feb and i just selected my flat in Oct.

Can i request to extend the HLE period if the appointment date is like only 1-2 weeks past my HLE expiry date?

Hi,

Sorry if this question has been posted before - HDB called me up to select a 5-rm flat (applied last year and reached by queue). Flat cost ~ 400k but my HLE max loan only shows 264k. If 80% LTV then i need at least 320k loan amount.

Are we still able to book a flat? Currently doing post grad while gf is working.. so total income isn't high as of now. Also have tuition loans, which is prob why the max loan amount is quite low.

400 k - 264 k = 136 k.
Are you able to pay that during your second appointment?

I suppose during the second appointment is within 4 months after selecting flat? Yes, but will prob max out our CPF OA.

Hi hi! need advice!

There is a change in my family nucleus and I might be the only main applicant of the BTO however I am on no pay leave and the key collection date is near.

I read from HDB website if there is a revision in family nucleus, HDB will revise our HLE loan. However, I am on no pay leave for one year and will only return to work next year. Anyone knows whether HDB will grant HLE loan to no pay leave applicant?

revision of family nucleus? pls check whether HDB allows that for your case first.
If not then also don't need to bother about loan approve or not. This is more important i feel.

BTO cannot suka suka change applicant, change spouse, change this or that.

No pay leave = no work.
No work = no salary.
No salary how to pay loan?
who will loan to someone who cant pay (no pay leave) , will u?

Is 13th month and performance bonuses taken into consideration for computation of income ceiling for HLE?

Hi experts need advice here. 1st HLE approved based on full time job with cpf contributions. Paid 10% down payment already afew months ago. As of this year quit job but self employed and doing voluntary cpf contributions.
Expected TOP in 1st quarter 2021 or could be earlier. Definitely loan will be lesser when hdb reassess before collecting keys. How does hdb calculate loan or what’s their formula? Do they wipeout cpf first meaning the cost after 10% downpayment minus cpf OA savings and that’s what you get for loan? Please help

HLE is base on income, if ur partner is also self employed suggest u to do a fix savings too to show them for HLE loan.

So eg if hle Amt is 200k.
After ur 90% balance - cpf balance = loan amount u need.
If HLE amount cannot cover = cash topup

Yeah, I read somewhere from the site, if not mistaken, to give latest 3 months of payslip... but then kene give what they ask for in the end.. mine they ask until 12months.

Also my fiancée kene 12months.. but abit troublesome for her side..

Coz she only working fulltime about 6-10months (i cant remember), then before that part time and contract... they look at her cpf during her part time and contract work, she receive salary so must produce that payslip as well..

But all is good in the end, abit troublesome thou.. first they want 3 months, then 12months, etc...
Whatever salary in cpf within 12months... especially switch jobs.. better produce that payslip from previous workplace as well...

They will ask for more depending on ur job (w cpf or self employed and etc) and cpf contribution if eg not constant
