Hi

My partner and I have applied for hle last week. They just replied asking me for my past year payslip - which I have no issues with.

For my partner, she has family business that contribute to her cpf monthly - no salary. Hle asking for supporting documents on this, how and what documents yea?

Ask her "family business" to issue monthly payslip if possible.

Got monthly cpf means = salary paid and cpf deduction done = payslip issued.

Give hdb payslip and iras statement and maybe finance manager letter to certified salary of certain amount.

Any heard about this?

Two weeks ago, I called up HDB due to my HLE loan amount was Super Low ($60k).

Spoke to the officer in charge and she told me due to both me and my fiancée is self employed. There's no way of showing our income is stable.

So somehow during conversation, she told me that they are looking on our 12 month personal bank statement and looking how much I saved every month.

It's like I'm pretending to pay a mortgage installment of $1,000 to HDB.

Therefore They are looking on every month that I should save $500 into my bank without spending it away. Same method for my fiancée. Total $1,000 will do.

All in all, after doing all this, she said during my 2nd HLE assessment, my loan amount would be reasonably higher.

Yeah it's true.. my husband is self employed. the first time we applied hle, we showed them our daily bank acc (more withdrawal than deposits), and our hle was rejected. We did attach a few other bank accounts but they didn't look at it.
In the end we had to go down to hdb and show them our savings bank account, then finally approved.

Any heard about this?

Self employed is definitely a disadvantage for loan taking.

Gotta submit the bank statement with the highest amt of savings if your NOA is really low. They usually just need to be reassured that you have some form of savings..

Thanks for the advices! :)

Since then, I'm trying to save $500 into my bank every month towards the next 4 years.

However I have something unclear, how do I make them do a second HLE assessment?

If not I'm stuck with the $60k loan. Which definitely affect me during key collection, where to find $200k in four years.. hahaha

You'll be able to do a second assessment before you collect your key.

My first assessment was same as yours. 100k. Then my bto comes 4 years later. So my second assessment was done weeks before my actual collection. It should be much much higher :)

I thought that its a norm that they won't do a second assessment if my income doesn't change?

Anyway, beside saving money in the bank, does voluntary cpf contribution helps? Since I'm a self employed. I don't need contribute tho...

I dont think self volunteering to cpf works. No change in income is subjected to how u put across? U are self employed.

Actually self employed NOA doesn't prove anything.

My income was high enough to get 5k grant from AHG ( bo bian, it's family business)

Yet the Lian quantum was so disappointing.

Luckily I consulted HDB and forum. If not I would give up my queue :/

Hi! i have a question..

for HLE application, we were asked to submit a 15mth cpf contribution report. However, when we pulled the report from cpf, it showed only 14mths (apr '16 - jun'17)... so does tt mean we need the payslip for the 15mth?

Submit the printout of the CPF contribution report together with the latest 3 month payslips (April, May and June 2017) and you are good to go. Confirmed

Sorry, I don't have an answer to this question. It is best to give HDB a call to clarify?

HLE usually only need 3 months payslip to qualify. I got mine recently with only 3 months payslip since I was away from Singapore for two years previously.

Can anyone here advise on this? I applied HLE yesterday, but it got approved without me submitting 15 months cpf contribution and payslip. I have also received the 7 pages letter from MyHDBPage. Did I applied for wrongly?
