you should get it, good price and i think it is really adequate!

i dont use soundbar, i have karaoke reciever and speakers. if i can redo, i may just get soundbar as smaller and easy for placement, but i havent hear it so not sure if the sound will be good.

im using the teoheng Bestkara.
for budget setup just carousell for used BMB. some price quite reasonable, and dont forget to allocate $100 for a good mic. make a big difference.

@deadrick, does the system you bought from Taobao have updated English songs?

Hi,

I owned a Popsical Remix. There are instances (i.e. singing with vocal on) where the singing parts become noisy and distorted.

Initially, I thought that my previous speaker was not meant for Karaoke, so I bought a PA speaker to resolve this. But, it doesn't solve my noisy vocal issue.

Was the microphone that came with Popsical lousy? or spoiled?

I was pondering whether to get a separate wireless microphone cum mixer system to resolve this. Searching Lazada listed these few products:
a) Sound Town 16 Channels Wireless Karaoke Microphone and Mixer System (SWM15-PRO)
b) Pyle PDKWM806B
c) Sound Town (SWM16-KM)
d) Ac Ryan MIXX

Does anyone have any review on the above?

Any other recommendation?

Thanks a lot.

This is long shot, but does anyone have experience with the Bose S1 Pro as karaoke speakers?

I'm thinking of replacing my super crappy Popsical Soundbar (Gen 1) with a pair of the Bose S1 Pro plus a proper wireless microphone setup like the Shure BLX288/SM58.

This setup is theoretically ideal because I have limited stowaway space that's just nice for a pair of S1 Pro's and the mic setup, without any need for mixers, receivers or amps. I don't have any space at all for Teo Heng style setups.

Found a youtube video demonstrating the speaker setup but wondering if anyone out there has some first hand experience with this.

So, have you tried Shure BLX288/SM58 connecting to Bose S1 Pro? Do you still need a mixer? Thanks

Hey pros. Has anyone by chance own an All In One Ktv unit named A80 years ago that has a stand and comes with a full touch screen fiction?

Recently I am having issue as it does not allow me to download or connect to any cloud songs, saying my membership has expired but I was told it was free for lifetime.

I had entered the details on the membership to submit it with the mac address of the unit but it still fails.

Thanks alot in advance

Cheers

Hi guys.. I'm a complete noob here..

is it possible to piece these together to have a decent and basic setup?

1) Shure wireless mic
2) Sonos beam soundbar
3) Popsical Remix
4) what else am I missing? Not sure how or what amplifier/mixer fit in here

Or if there's somewhere I can read up on the setups, I tried browsing thru the forum but there's just too much loose info everywhere. I'm not sure where to start with

no expert here but my super basic setup is:
1) Popiscal Remix with its included Mics
2) Aux out to my Polk Magnifi Mini soundbar and subwoofer

Good enough for my study/ktv room :)

If u want the best sound and singing, is to use the normal popsical and buy a bmb amplifier preferably with bmb speakers (new or used). Can buy 2 wireless mics cheap2 like $50. It will be like same experience as karaoke lounge. 😁

Thanks for your reply!.. So I assume no issues even if not using any amplifier in between? Would you know if can use 3rd party microphones?

I see.. I did consider that but if possible I was hoping to use bare minimum.. If can just use soundbar only

I done some reading.. but not sure how to approach this.

Basically is it possible to do the following?

If I wish to have,

1) Popsical (normal)
2) Shure wireless mic
3) feed both popsical and mic audio into Sonos Beam soundbar

I think will need an amplifier as a medium for both popsical/mic audio right?

Or is it actually more sensible to just use

1) Popsical remix (with the default wireless Mics)
2) RCA to optical output to Sonos Beam soundbar

Popsical Black vs Pink/Green

hi guys, with this stay-home thing going on, think it's about time to finally get 1.. haven't sang at home since LD times.. :s13:

can i check what's the difference between the popsical black colour vs their pink/green ones?

have sonos beam and 2 sonos ones for my tv setup, was thinking of getting acryan's mixx for the mics and they have a bundle with popsical but it's the pink/green one instead of the black version that's currently on popsical's website.

can any kind soul advise? thanks in advance!

Cos the bmb amplifier can adjust the sound of the mic to ur comfort level (echo, feedback). And with speaker and wireless mic, can only cost $500 or less if u get a used one. And more power than a normal soundbar

I think that android boxes with karaoke apps are the best choices for nowadays, in my opinion. By the way, you can always visit this page if you like to listen something new, from the electro and beats audio style. Online audio database TrakTrain has been gained tons of audio-tracks, and now allow people to listen it freely, wherever you are.

Hi! Anyone know how I could output sound for popsical remix?

I'm using aux and connecting it to my soundbar.
Whenever I change my soundbar to aux mode, my tv automatically switches to another input.

Ok so I got myself a karaoke mixer with 2 mics input. I wanna connect them to my HTPC and AV receiver. Basically I wanna have YouTube as the source of the music and sound from the build in sound card from the HTPC. How should I connect them together?
Mic - mixer - HTPC line in, HTPC line out - AVR?
Or
Mic - mixer - HTPC line out, mixer output to AVR?

Is your HTPC able to function as a mixer? That is, combine the sound from your mic with the sound from Youtube? If it does, the mixer you are connecting between mic and HTPC is not serving any purpose, unless it is being used to enhance the mic’s vocals (reverb, EQ, compression).

If the HTPC is unable to mix the 2 sound sources, then your connections should be: mic and HTPC to mixer IN, then mixer out to AVR.

One piece of advice: it is preferable to get an active speaker for the vocals. Most HT speakers are not going to be able to handle the dynamics of vocals from mic. In such case, mic can be connected to active speaker and HTPC to AVR for the music.
