300 plus with shipping.
Set up is easy but u have zero knowledge on connection etc, u may need to read up abit.

Can this link with moment 2 easily?

Moment Wireless Karaoke Soundbar (Gen2)
http://www.acryan.com/shop/moment-wireless-karaoke-soundbar-gen2/
Around $500 SGD

Thinking to pair this with the system above then popsical. Popsical is around $250 for the normal one, this is around $400 (ind shipping), but suppose this has better function plus no need pay subscription .

thinking of getting this https://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?id=560863011923 for my mum.

did you guys manage to find out if this can work with the moment wireless karaoke soundbar?

@deadrink can i ask what karoake setup do you use?

you should get it, good price and i think it is really adequate!

i dont use soundbar, i have karaoke reciever and speakers. if i can redo, i may just get soundbar as smaller and easy for placement, but i havent hear it so not sure if the sound will be good.

im using the teoheng Bestkara.
for budget setup just carousell for used BMB. some price quite reasonable, and dont forget to allocate $100 for a good mic. make a big difference.

If u're getting those Karaoke soundbars, there isn't much to set up but whole karaoke systems is a lil more complicated..

I think if u are willing to pay more for installation/set up.. they should have no prob with it.. but best is to ask them..

Key components of karaoke system (in my opinion)

1. Microphone(s)
2. Tone/Key control (the one that change pitch of song when a singer cannot hit the notes)
3. Effects (Eg. Reverb, Echo, etc)
4. Karaoke music (usually tgt w the video)
5. Device to control the levels and mix the signals from 1 to 4 together
6. Amplifier
7. Speakers (incl. Subwoofers)
8. Device that stores/plays/output songs n video
9. Visual Display Device (Tv/projector)

For home use or some professional setting, usually No. 5 and 6 are incorporated in the "Karaoke Mixing Amplifier".

This "Karaoke Mixing Amplifier" mixes the mic sound, tone, echo, music together and then amplify it. This amplified signal will be sent to the karaoke speakers.

Most"karaoke mixing amplifier" should include Mic(s) input, built in tone control, Echo knob, Mic volume knob, music volume knob.

Some "karaoke mixing amplifiers" will have more knobs to control the tones in the individual mic channels, or have "preout" for subs, or have feedback suppression built in, or fancier displays, etc

Shopping for a basic karaoke system. Not complicate in setting up and user friendly. Should be able to connect to my old Samsung TV with hdmi input. Be able to play karaoke cd or download online. Budget is below 1K.

Must I need a speaker and sub to complete the setup.

Thanks for reading.

Just gotten mine, bought a 3tb one.
Makes singing so much enjoying than using pc free karaoke software..

How to manually add mtv ar? There are a small amount of songs I can't find.

Then then most songs are already uploaded right? How to do the manual updates of songs?
how long was the shipping time ah? 1 month?

This is long shot, but does anyone have experience with the Bose S1 Pro as karaoke speakers?

I'm thinking of replacing my super crappy Popsical Soundbar (Gen 1) with a pair of the Bose S1 Pro plus a proper wireless microphone setup like the Shure BLX288/SM58.

This setup is theoretically ideal because I have limited stowaway space that's just nice for a pair of S1 Pro's and the mic setup, without any need for mixers, receivers or amps. I don't have any space at all for Teo Heng style setups.

Found a youtube video demonstrating the speaker setup but wondering if anyone out there has some first hand experience with this.

Seems like the Bose S1 Pro is more for PA. can be used though but maybe not ideal?

and its costly. u Can get a pair of BMB Cheaper and its specifically for Karaoke used.

i understand you dont wish to have so many setups but you do still need a Karaoke Amp. there is those with built in mixer if im not wrong.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to eschew the BMB/Teo Heng route because unfortunately I don't have any floor/shelf/console space for amp and mixer and speakers.

That's why I'm considering the S1 Pro, because it is active (no need amp), has direct mic inputs (2-channel) and direct on-speaker controls for reverb, bass, treble.

Then as for pitch/tone control, I can use the software controls on the Popsical hockey puck.

Wonder how that would all work out. Like you say its not cheap, a pair will run for $1,800. But if it works well, I do save a ton of space.

Was interesting to me as well, because I have a just-about perfect stowaway space that fits two S1 Pro's directly. And it actually has a built in battery, so I can pre-charge before any K session and don't have to worry about power for 4-5 hours (spec says up to 11 hours but I think that's optimistic).

So the setup is, drag out from stowaway space, connect 3.5mm input from Popsical to AUX on S1 Pro, connect microphones, link left/right S1 Pro using TSR cable, then sing to heart's content. When finish, pull out the cables, fit both back into stowaway space.

Thanks for the info provided. Managed to come across this system at https://www.sgshop.com/taobao/tao-bao/searchdetails?tbid=586345381705 which has everything. What's your comment on this? My budget is not more than 1K.

Ah I see, it has direct inputs and control. Seems like a really neat solution! if ure really in for the space savings then go for it.

but u have to prepare if u feel jaded using jus after a 'short' period, its hard to sell off unless u dont mind selling at a heavy lost. for me this is also a considering factor:o

Anyone owns the Powerhouse U8+ Karaoke Soundbar? Need Review Please

Hi all, i am currently looking to purchase a karaoke soundbar. Having owned the bulky big speakers and amplifiers with mixer before, i decided that this time round i wanted something simple and dont need too much space.

So i did my own google search and found a few places in town selling the karaoke soundbar. For the past 3 days, i visited MBkaraoke first, then Powerhouse and lastly AC ryan at SLS today. Other than AC Ryan moment 2 which is its own product, the rest of the other retailers actually get their product from china factory and rebrand the soundbar as their own brand.

Throughout the 3 places, i am most satisfied with the Powerhouse soundbar the most as it gives me the most similar feeling to a KTV session. The AC Ryan Moment 2 is definately decent but still lacking abit behind.

I have read this whole thread in hopes of finding more discussion on the karaoke soundbar from Powerhouse but there isn't any shared. I know it is the most expensive of the 3 at $799 but the quality is the best of the 3 i tested. Seems like majority of the people in this thread brought the AC Ryan moment 2 only.

Being the cautious buyer myself, i am trying to find reviews for this Powerhouse soundbar before making a purchase decision. Hope there is someone who owns this soundbar can share your experience so far of the soundbar and any issues with it? :D
