I find it hard to believe.

the KTV rooms have a certain form of sound proofing from room to room, those suffice already.

I think depend the situation

Like in the dead of night when ppl can hear cricket, you wanna karaoke, then u need serious proofing
Day time got lots of white noise from here and there, and other ppls home environment also have TV etc.. shouldnt need so serious.. so i think for most as long as stay within normal hours, shouldnt have much issue unless you blast too high.

Also is a more expensive mic wireless system worth the investment? Noob to this 😂
i know i kinda necro this thread, i have a entry level sennheiser mic XS Wireless but last gen,
I have a powerhouse ktv basic pack with the 2 mics.
I almost always use the XS wireless, the mics provided i only use when guests are around.

I bought this HAJURIZ karaoke system from lazada for $653 after stack voucher and uses my old 2yrs old Amoi soundbar with wireless mic. Not bad for the price, the only downside the HAJURIZ karaoke system wireless mic is very soft with build in mixer. Should have gotten the 15" system as 18.5" is too big liao. End up I uses back my soundbar wireless mic. Total investment around $900 with soundbar.

I have a SHARP Sound Bar HT-SBW460 & Unblock TV Box and of course a Smart TV.

TV box connects to TV and Sound Bar plays the audio from TV directly or the box via HDMI audio return channel.

It is an OK choice to purchase a mixer to setup as a home Karaoke?

For the songs, TV box got 全民K歌,need to pay like 12 rmb/month for monthly subscription. Cost is acceptable. But any review on their service/song selection and quality? got better choices?

Thank you.

Hi, I recently moved to new place and wife would like a ktv set up in one of the rooms. I am seriously stumped as to how to get the thing working. Any help would be super useful and really appreciated :)

I have a Sonos beam gen 2. LG C1 TV. Am thinking of buying a system from Lazada.

How can I get it to work, how to connect all? Do I need a mixer? Can this work?

Seems like it is all in one

With HDMI out ( e.g to your TV )

Suggest you PM the seller and inform him about your setup to see how it can be integrated.

Hi there

Currently planning to get either popsicle or from powerhouse in coming months.

Can I know if anyone is using the above sets and how's ur set up like? Some of the soundbars( bose/sonos) only got 1 hdmi and for such cases will the soundbar be able to support both ?

should be fine with a mixer, do note you will might need more than 1 hdmi switch if your sound bar or TV have limited hdmi connection. Also the downside of using TV box for 全民K歌 is the speed of the streaming and the download cache to store song.

Just an update on my post..

I bought this and it literally worked out of the box. I just connected the device with one hdmi cable to tv.thats all. My sonos soundbar is playing both music and mic. Suggesting the device is an inbuilt mixer as well. It's awesome

Got delay but I solved it. No delay if you connect from the device straight to the soundbar. Cannot connect hdmi to TV then to soundbar. Will have delay.

In my case, sonos beam only has one hdmi port so I got myself a av red white cable to hdmi converter then connect to soundbar. Separately connect another hdmi from device to TV for the visuals. Turn off hdmi audio option in settings

Alternatively I also tried connecting to my Samsung soundbar which has 2 hdmi ports. No delay when device connect straight to soundbar then to TV

Main thing is audio MUST go straight to speakers. Cannot go through TV

No need. They provided wireless mic and hdmi wires. That's all. Only thing is, to avoid delay, read my previous reply

Planning to get powerhouse. How is their lower tier power house $999 package? Can make it?
I was using their 1899 bundle before they made the cheaper ubox mini. UBOX Slim starter plus.
They are alright, but if I move away from my living room the speakers sounds kind of thin.
I managed to buy the cinematic speakers from someone on carousell.
After swapping out the speakers, there's the "karaoke" feel that the small speakers struggle to mimic but the small speakers sounds good too
