Yup excited about HomePod as well. Was deliberating on SONOS but will now put it on-hold pending reviews on HomePod. US$349 is about S$456. Most likely will get HomePod.

Sonos is actually pretty good n easy to set up. Its cheaper too. So gd to waut n rrad review on homepod. Looks smaller than sonos though

Yes. Only via AirPlay and can’t use it as a Bluetooth speaker.

The HomePod’s trademark is registered here but the IMDA’s equipment search doesn’t indicate anything regarding the HomePod (yet).

If I’m not mistaken, yes. You will need to keep toggling the airplay function.

For a wifi speaker with good sound I think that price $550 below would be okey. Unfortunately wifi speaker (smart speaker with assistant I mean) usually cost more
