I was quoting Vmall; which is selling to local Chinese market.

The CDM (Chinese Domestic Market) sets have different specs.

Some of us buy direct Chinese sets.

One of the bro (who had the screen issue) did mentioned he did not see any 5.0GHz on his 8x.

That's why I say local users always screwed because our market is too small to matter. I don't bother with the local warranty nowadays and just buy directly from China.

Just top up a bit for Honor Play with better cpu (kirin 970), nfc and 2.4/5 Ghz wifi ... when coupon available shd be <$400 ... see quite a lot of user shocked and complained that nova 3i here not even support 5 Ghz wifi (dual wifi is a quite standard feature for this price range) .. or just get any xiaomi model with the same $300 price range with SD cpu and the standard dual wifi.
