Hmm, it's possible. This phone is better than my Samsung in terms of signal strength, and most reviews out there, even the official introduction event show stronger signal strength than iphone. And chances are, most of the other people in the group all using iphone.

And in terms of chip, majority of ppl are using iphone or Samsung. Both aren't using latest SD chip. And so far, not many phones promote about their special chips that increase signal strength.

Surprisingly, this year Chinese flagships all quite similar. Somehow all go with the 50mp main shooter and 200mp telephoto periscope, and they like all purposely restrain themselves from making the perfect phone. Vivo and oppo go for the best camera with crazy option of the extra lens, but they use dimensity. OnePlus go for the best performance, but skimp on the camera. Actually my fav is Xiaomi with their dual screen, quite fun, but brief comments around, like got some issues.

Honor also like jack of all trades but master of none. Similar camera set up as the best, but not the best, and using snapdragon. Cons is their 512gb variant is 12gb ram. But I wanted 1tb, so honor is my only option.

China brand phone flagships their modem are definitely stronger than google, Samsung and iphone.. also need to check the bands available for that particular model..

I was wondering did I made a mistake buying the phone but never unboxed and use lol. For those who bought it and was using other Android phones, especially Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro, how is this phone? Still miss the Sky Cyan color though.

The only way to fight poison is with poison. That's how I ended with X300 Pro & OnePlus 15.

Check MrMobile. It's $1229 or thereabouts for the 1tb. But they're not giving free gifts as it's deemed a Telco set. The free gifts set is not worth as it earbuds.

Dv tech still has the Sony headset but it's 1499. All 1tb as I'm not looking at 512gb.... My oppo and vivo already getting half full.

Telco sets if not wrong means activated already. But it's still ok since the model is still very new.

Hahahaha. I think it's very simple. From reviews, oppo is the better phone, in many different ways. The only reason to choose honor is snapdragon and 1tb. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving this phone to bits, I'm just basing this comment on reviews. It's quite a general consensus that colorOS is better than magicOS, some even say it's better than oneUI and oneUI is my fav.

So, software, camera, battery life, the usual main criteria for a phone, seems like oppo wins. But for more niche, minor things like speaker and faceID, it goes to honor. And personally, I prefer the design of honor, a more unique design with nice colours, and unpopular opinion, I like the curve screen, looks better and actually not very curved. It's enough for a more premium feel, but it keeps the screen mostly flat. No wobble when placed on table as well, it's minor, I know.

But what I kinda not like is when putting landscape, the bump is very obvious. Also, the main camera and ultrawide is the bottom 2. This, along with the huge camera bump, means the camera is lower than usual. Sometimes, holding the phone naturally, my fingers might get into the picture, especially with ultrawide.

How many phones you have? Or only the Honor?
