Hi all! Any long time iPhone user that switched to the Magic 8 Pro? Care to share your thoughts about the switch? I’m thinking of switching as I’m bored of the iPhone lol

Really a matter of getting used to it.
Android is fun and honor has more nicer themes and icon customisation that works out of the box and the downloadable FOC ones are really good too. This is coming from an ex Galaxy user.

Discovered that recently honor added CNY watermark on camera app if that's what u're looking for.

Honor is also the only manufacturer with secured face ID in the Android camp and that works with all bank apps (except DBS which asked for fingerprint). Fingerprint scanner is the high end ultrasonic ones as expected from Android flagship.

Last but not least, ask yourself, are U locked into an Eco system.

My wireless buds connects extremely well and supports Hi Res audio with M8Pro, so is my Galaxy watch. So reliance with apple products is not there.

Yep, I got a boring corporate iPhone 15 pro max. Apple till now could not get their notifications right. I still feel that it's all over the place.

This phone is one of the more comfortable phone I've felt without case. I never liked how iphone feels and samsung is quite sharped edge and heavy. This one has the slim feel due to it's slightly smaller size and slightly curved edge.

I have the m8pro. Haven't got chance to touchsee op15. But I cannot use phone without a case one, plus the camera protruding so much, no case v scary

M8 Pro come with default case, I'm still using the default one. Not bad quality. Quite comfortable and offers some protection.

Oya, their default case actually v nice. I tried buying one as I occasionally use magsafe for powerbank and charging at work desk. But then the battery so good, I don't need powerbank, don't need to charge at work, and the new case makes the phone feel boxy. So I'm back at the default case, it keeps the smooth rounded feeling.

I’m almost ready to pull the trigger but I have read some horror stories on our local service centre at Plaza Singapura (long repair times, creating a new issue after the initial issue has been repaired). Anyone of you with personal experience with them, care to share pls?

You are coming from a premium brand with a premium after sale service...

I can assure you non of the android brands can match the fruit after sale service level. Just need to manage your expectations and you are good to go.

Unsure about this. But do you want to spend your time travelling to JB just for warranty claim? If fix within a day is fine, but what happens if spare parts are not available, and you need to travel in again to collect the phone once it has finished repairing?
