Regardless of any CN phone imported will consist of risk. So the best is to get it non-CN or local set unless you know what is the limitation of imported CN phones.

Yes, the global set will have GMS except for Huawei and some old model Honor under the Huawei sub. For any other CN brand set just needs to manually install it which normally will work.
Huawei is a completely different global issue as compared to other CN brands that allowed GMS. Huawei is banned by the US from using its technology including 5G too.

We are not referring to the global sets bro. Almost all China phones WITH China roms have GMS in the phones except for Huawei.
Like some of the users here, I have been using China rom phones for years. Risks are inherent when playing with non-warranty sets but so far, I have had zero issues with all the China rom phones I owned.

China rom is basic GMS only. Cannot map timeline, No Android auto, Wear pay cannot work. Phone payment no issue.

Let's be clear.
China phone/ROM got Google Services also. Only Huawei dun have.

Just need to go settings and on it and manually load in Play Store. But following will not work:
1. Android Auto
2. Wear OS Watches (Got hack to make it work but no guarantee.)
3. Location history

still got 1, the nearby share. Can't seem to find this in setting.
But not end of the world. as still has other way to share.

I guess another issue is the Notification on the screen, those apps we installed from playstore do not display notification on screen or even the sound.

Turn off power optimization, keep app alive etc.

Tried to turn off power optimization for phone and app as well, it seems like the notification does not work for whatsapp, no issue with the default app like message or phone etc.

Lock the app that you want notification. Make sure they do not close. All China rom needs to do this and power optimization to get whatapps notification.

Thanks for your advice, I manage to play around with the settings and get back the notification on the lock screen as well as the alert notification for whatsapp.

I bought it from one seller in Carousell at $2039 with just the phone but wanted the Honor Magic Pen but seller order the Pencil instead so will sell off the Magic Pencil if anyone interested.
