mine once put ton the honor wireless charging, screen will show it's charging at 55w. and the recent test with cuktech charger and using the cuktech usb c ...it will trigger 66w charge which also will ask u to unfold screen to prevent heat.
lucky they never gift this in SG...don't like headphone at all..

the honor wireless charging using cuktech adapter charger? what's the cuktech adapter power? 100watt?
can help test using honor power adapter from the box, what's the watt says on the screen while using honor wireless charging stand ?

the free wireless charger that came with V3 is 100W max. So it will display 50W max while charging V3/V5. M7P will display 66W max. As long you using genuine Honor wireless/charger confirmed it will display based on the spec max charging speed. So use that as a guidelines if you buying any 3rd party charger. if no display meaning, you not charging at MAX speed. SIMPLE N EASY!

no diff whether is which model, as long able to charge to max based on the spec. btw, where u got your honor wireless charger?

actually there is a difference.
I'm wondering if my device, cable or power adapter issue. But i use all original/ whatever comes in the V5 box, for cable and power adapter.
The honor wireless charger is also original, got it from Carosell, brand new. This is the honor 100w wireless charger, i believe it was a free gift during previous honor device promo?
So i'm wondering if you guys using V3 cable and power adapter, it could be the reason why you guys are getting the max 50watt wireless. But i confirm definitely with V5 cable and power adapter, it will only give 40watt wireless.
the thing is V5 is advertised can have 50watt wireless charge, but in reality using their original cable and adapter in the box, it won't get 50watt.

mine when put on the wireless charger, will show the wording and logo of wireless super charge 50w. V3 and V5 cable and charger shd be same. if plug out from the honor wireless charger and direct charge v5, will become the super fast charge 66w.

my V5 charger direct to Phone is also 66 watt. Only when using wireless showing the logo super charge 40 watt. Not 50 watt.
I don't have V3 charger & cable to compare. I only have V5 set. I still suspect V3 & V5 cable are not the same at least. BTW, V5 cable got label near the USB A port written 3.5A. not sure if V3 cable is the same.

ok, you are right, i took out the cable from my v5 box and try it. i can't get any 50w wording for the wireless charge, it only show supercharge. comparing the cable from v3 and v5..seem like v3 cable is thicker. :vijayadmin:
