ok, you are right, i took out the cable from my v5 box and try it. i can't get any 50w wording for the wireless charge, it only show supercharge. comparing the cable from v3 and v5..seem like v3 cable is thicker.

good to know. I thought I got a lemon set.
perhaps honor is not being honest again and tried to cut corner giving us sub poor cable or not the same as previous version.

Smart battery capacity is 'enabled' by default. Does this mean full charge is actually only 80% although it is showing 100% ?
So in order for us to test the full capacity of 5820mAh we have to turn off this setting?
Coming from Oppo and Samsung, with this similar feature enabled, the battery will show 80%, not 100%, so i won't get confused.

it's same same but different...the camera behind ..v5 bigger..and also performance wise...v5 faster quite a bit.

Just look for those cable and adapter supports SCP or FCP. SCP preferred as SCP is faster and newer.

this one on v3...very buggy..sometimes will have warning said it won't full charge and stop at 80%..sometimes will not appear. i think v5 also having this same bug

you mean by right it should stop at 80% when switched on?
now our V5 always go all the way 100% regardless switch on or off what, right?

yes, even now v3 also sometimes this restriction come out..sometimes won't happen..

even if we turn it ON, V5 does NOT stop at 80%, it will go all the way to 100%.
The setting won't do that it is supposed to do. it is a bug.
For some we want it to stop at 80% eg. plugged in to power for longer period using desktop mode, etc.

Tied to serial number more likely.. I registered my warranty with eplanet even tho not required.. starts the day you receive the phone if not wrong ..

I got the Vivo XF5, used for 2 days and don't like some minor annoyances here and there. Plus I find that it isn't much better than my Honor v3. So trade in at a loss for the Honor Magic v5 at litemobile.

Regards to the question on the clock delay 1 hr previously.
I have found the issue, I stay in Bedok South area, the phone tag to Indonesia network. Usually will connect to Indonesia network in the middle of the night, and the clock will delay 1 hour the next morning.
Previously using S23U did not encounter this issue.
