Because since the start alr say don't have le.. but when u said got then I go confirm with honor again maybe got changes..but no such thing.. and u also never share who ur source is lol..

Thanks for the update...this is indeed "fishy". I recalled V3 and V5 screen size is different. Give Honor the benefit of doubt that the V5 is a "new" phone and the factory is ramping up the production of these "new" SP. I may be dropping by Plaza Sing next week. I will ask around the availability.

I tried to call honor singapore, and the guy said their service centre is closed today. then I googled and sure enough, apparently their service centre is closed on thurdays, fridays and public holidays!

Hi, I highly suggest if have any enquiries. Do write in into HONOR Facebook page. It's much more responsive if you looking to get information. Service centre mainly handles walk in. Therefore reply may not be prompt

Who is ur source tho?? I checked with honor Singapore official just a few seconds ago they confirmed no screen protection warranty like Malaysia (I also verified the same before I bought the V5 in July)...

Have ar.. I remembered someone check during presales have. 2 years warranty include screen protection. That's the main reason why I purchase honor over oppo or Samsung . Because of warranty

The last I spoke to the honor SC via phone call he said don't have tho lol...

Since it provides a 2-year warranty, as long as the issue is not due to user fault, technical fault will remains covered under warranty for up to 2 years.

I went to PS again to enquire about the exterior SP after facebook-ing with Honor Singapore about it.

The FB person told me it's in stock but cost $25. so I went down to check with the store itself and discovered that it's actually a 3rd-party SP which they customised it for the v5 (basically the same thing as what they told me two weeks ago), instead of the original factory manufactured SP for the exterior screen.

And they also affirmed that exterior SP is not under warranty and so is not free to replace.

$25 for a 3rd party SP... dunno is what brand or quality. so I say no thanks and left... went to Handphone Inspiration @ Marina Square to paste a hydrogel clear SP for $19.90... cheaper.

anyway seems like the Honor service centre in SG is not very matured yet.

actually the default outer SP is a dust magnet, having another 3rd party option might not be a bad option...

Just get any AR type or privacy from taobao.. definitely better than the default one.. I tore it off after a few hours.. lousy quality .

At least they are honest to you. I also asked about the tablet's keyboard which they claimed was from a 3rd party, not from Honor official.

I did notice that most of the China brands, many accessories, I'm not sure why SG doesn't carry it. Maybe they all feel no market in SG.
