Location: Myeongdong
Room: Accommodate 2A 2C (6,8) - 2 double beds
Amenities: Washer/Dryer
Budget: S$200-S$250
Any recommendations? Thanks!!

I stayed Prince Hotel Myeongdong last year... around this budget for their Deluxe Twin Double...

Room is spacious 28sqm... The toilet a bit small... if lucky can get the one with Seoul Tower view... Their furnishings i find a bit dated... but their location is fantastic... across the street is Myeongdong shopping area + street food... on the hotel right side 2 mins walk is Emart... left side 3mins walk is 7-11... Metro is right outside the doorstep... but the one with escalators up/down to metro is near the 7-11...

Still cant decide to stay in Hongdae or Myeondon.. I know Myeondong is more central and nearest to most of the tourist attractions..

Foodwise, which location offer better quality and options?

Both areas have lots of good restaurants.
Myeongdong is more central than Hongdae, easier to walk to various tourist sites.
Myeongdong has lots of street food but a bit overpriced for tourists.

Hongdae has more of a student hangout place and feel.
Lots of very nice cafes in Hongdae area.

Can stay at both places too.
Stay 2 or 3 nights at each location.
Can take taxi between both as they arent too far away

Not bad idea since I will be going to Busan... prob stay at Hongdae for 2 nights before heading to Busan and stay at Myeongdong when I come back from Busan.

I feel Hongdae has more variety of korean food. But prefer myeongdong as a base for travel and near the lotte and shinsegae malls, can do duty free shopping downtown as icn airport doesn't have much stuff, unlike sg airport.

Personally I don’t like to stay in Myeondong/ Hongdae. I feel both too tourists and crowded. Super noisy also and the hotel rooms are expensive. So far I still prefer Courtyard by Marriott Namdaemun or Isadong area (quite nice with lots of cafe). Korea is quite well connected like Singapore so no problem one. Myeondong food is expensive like 14,000 won per pax. Hongdae eat same thing around 11,000 won. If want to save money can eat their fast food. Burger is at 4,000 won + 1,000 amercano. And they trash our burger chains hands down

Those who travelled with family (kids/teens), where did you stay in Busan? Was planning to stay near Busan station for convenience but read that it can be seedy (??)
