moi memorize moi mother ic number using hokkien, so a bit hard to recall the number in english...

Now getting old quite tedious to remember phone number. The trick is if there are double digits in the phone number it is easy to remember. If there is 8s in the no, like 38, 48, 78, it is easy to remember.

We can remember 3 or 4 numbers in a string at a time.

Thats why phone numbers are 7 digits. XXX-XXXX

Break it up into two strings of 3 and 4 digits.

My phone number very easy to memorize because ish golden number.

Mom’s number also easy because the number is quite nice and easy to rem. And I chose for her one.

NRIC… ownself rem ownself de ish normal mah.
I can memorize my mom’s because already printed in my head. Also went to many medical appointments with her liao.

I think rem these two can liao (phone number, NRIC).

Other numbers like birthday, somehow I can rem people’s birthday sia, be it ex gfs, classmates from secondary school, primary school, family’s, etc. Even for those that no longer contact. Duno why.

I can also rem ex gfs phone numbers (for non Singaporeans). Like country code and the long numbers. +61 ish Australia, +886 ish TW, etc.

I also can rem old homes landline numbers!! Omg. And my friend and tuition teacher house de.

Credit card I cannot rem liao after changing a new card Passport number I cannot rem too. Numbers not nice enough.

Certain number like your IC Number n Phone Number sure will not forget one cause it's been with you so many years liao unless you have dementia.

Then for other numbers just record down in your phone can already.
