So when flying there also sit on the right la, for sunrise...
Oso take behind seats, more spacious than the 3-4-3 configuration. Coz, behind is 2-4-2.

Last when i fly into TPE, arrived sibeh early, like touched down 5am... So come back flight delay departure till about 4.45pm, so depends lor. Take photos with your tablet? Then use instagram and snapseed to PP?

scoot to BKK only got evening flight...

tried 2x air asia, 1x jetstar asia and 1x scoot.

best seat and comfy is Scoot (not the fastest becoz boeing 777 carrys a lot more passagers. checkin counter is long, waiting area has a lot of ppl)
speed and smoothness is AA
best schedule is JS (smooth and speedy too)

overall i prefer scoot a little more than JS.

How about the seats? Comparing Scoot standard economy and JS standard seats.

SCOOT is way much better, besides, it's use a bigger plane than JS A320.

You will not see sunrise on flight to taipei. Too early. Maybe around august we may be able to see. JS flight can see sunrise because its a bit later timing.

For returning to sg flight, the sunset scene is MORE than an hour because the flight is flying 'south-slightly west' and 'chasing the sun'. I was watching sunset for almost 2 hrs!

I prefer to sit at the front because sitting behind the two engines is noisy and 'buzzing'

Personally, the Super Seat is really spacious so I cant see any reason to pay more for Bizscoot or Stretchh.

0630hrs....this is despite the fact tat i walk slowly to the customs counters n letting other ppl go 1st
bag was ready when i settle the customs counters. walking round the airport till 0700, so tat i can get my prepaid card from chungwah

spend some time settling the prepaid then went over to buy bus ticket, waited for Ubus,reach taoyuan HSR abt 0830hr

My last arrival on the 31/12/2012 to tpe, arrival is 5am, out at bus area by 5:45am. Super early and ubus to hsr does not operate, think earliest is 6:15am it leaves the airport. Though, i was first in the queue for ubus counter, the lady needs to start printing tickets etc. so was like just b4 six i got my tix to taoyuan hsr station.

Scoot has one of the widest seat pitch among the budget carriers operating out of Singapore. But until they take delivery of the new Boeing Dreamliners (which is already expected to be delayed given the current fiasco over the batteries), do be prepared for possible delays and contingencies because they have limited redundancy and most of their planes are flown back to back to different destinations with minimal turn around time. Furthermore, while the 777 is indeed a great plane, I believe the age of the planes is a factor which cannot be overlooked. They seem to be facing many issues with the refurbished 777s for the past year...
