connecting the cable to the laptop straight doesnt allow u to transfer file? how come my laptop doesnt detect anything?

It's a PC.... try connecting two PCs with a usb cable....

You are using 2x Windows PC.
You can use Share Folder Settings to transfer files over Wifi.

Sorry my idea to test PS1 Emu but I haven't test yet.
My Stream 7 is a paper weight collecting dust at home.
I still waiting for my case + film + otg usb hub from ebay to arrive before tuning and testing my stream 7.

To answer your question, can use OTG USB and use normal USB Keyboard.
