Please read the warranty booklet. Usually not cover in SG if you bought in US but sometime if its international warranty, it could cover for local.

Anyone encounter unit refuse to power up upon arrival..and even after charging it for 15min..the unit still has no response..

Friend carried back the new touch pad from USA , to my horror...the unit cant be powered up nor showing sign of accepting charge, power adapter is still cold..

There's lots of reports of problems charging. May not be touchpad problem.

where u read it? i think few mth back also read it, but it like due to late release that causes it to failure.

thanks for the information.

no sign of pulse even with power adapter on it for 7 hours..luckily one thread here mentioned the Force reset (Power +Home key sequence). trying out the force reset key sequence do wonder to awake the Touchpad and boot up..since then manage to fully charged up

I am already on alpha 3. No issues at all for me. As for game, i am not sure how well it runs because i dont play it on touchpad.

How long does your touchpad battery last when on standby? I find my battery keeps running low even when not using. Is there something I need to do other than total shutdown?

always set Airplane mode to "On" even when u accessing network thru wifi. it will help u save lot of battery life.

My touchpad consumes 1% per hour of battery during standby. Calibrate your battery with battery calibration app and it should solve your battery problem. Btw, i am on alpha 3.

The ipad screen protector can be used.

Alpha 3 have overcome SOD so far but wifi issue still linger ard.

mine seems to be laggy..
