all the patch are for 3.0.4, once you update to 3.0.5, the patches won't work. And in the updated preware for 3.0.5, there is no patch available yet.

you can watch youtube videos, just go search for hp touchpad android
one such is How to install CM7 (CyanogenMod 7) Android on HP Touchpad - YouTube

recommend you watch more than one video first before attempting if you are totally beginner, and read the stuff mentioned in the video...

it's dual boot so you can choose to boot android or webos during startup

By the way, can we still port over to Android after updating WebOS to 3.0.5?
Or vice versa.

OK. I've finally loaded mine with ICS Alpha 0.

I downloaded a GAPPS file from HERE, got a new MBOOT (0.3.5) and use back the old CWM Tenderloin 1012. Rename (name it update-*****.zip)and put all files into cminstall folder and run the Novacom cammnd. Wala... Everything works great so far (includes Market).

First encounter with ICS :D

My WiFi connection problem gone after ICS upgrade. 3.5 always have WiFi problem then have to disable and re-enable. No random reboot too. It's been almost a day.

it's out now. still buggy tough.

Touchpad FTW! I loved my Touchpad, Gingerbread was buttery smooth and had great battery life.

In the end, I sold off my Touchpad because of the lack of 3G, not being "always on" was a bother and frankly not how a tablet should be.

I have since migrated to a Lenovo K1, which is mighty impressive, aside from the Touchpad's IPS screen which is definitely one notch ahead.

Rock on Touchpad Users, the only tablet with triple boot!

This $99 touchpad is really the bang for the buck now that it runs ICS on it..

I just received the official sleeve and it feels brand new all over again with triple boot - WebOS, Android 4 and Linux
