You might have a case if there were false representations made to you during the sales process but otherwise it would be difficult to get your money back. Alternatively you can contact HP and try talking to them. They are a big company, maybe they might do something out of goodwill

As HP officially claimed its discontinue plan of webos operation, it's understood what happened on Touchpad. The maker does not have confidence on the future of Touchpad, what do you expect from retailers or customers?

They decided to 'cut losses', as the revenue coming in from the pads are no where near what they had projected to be.

maybe for those who don't care about apps (except the built-in ones), can start scouring for a cheap cheap tablet...

who uses web os phone?

I do, have been using a Pre Plus for nearly a year. I think I'll get another webOS phone... it's very difficult for me to use an Android phone or even an iPhone after have used webOS.


This mobile OS is much better than the competition LOL

Iirc there are homebrew apps. Not sure about putting another os in it all together.

If drop to 100 and they sold all the tablets... They might become 2nd tablet maker behind iPad in sales for the month.
