Anyone know how to disable sync-ing of my gmail's contact?

Settings -> Account & Sync -> select your Gmail account -> uncheck Sync Contacts

MMS and Internet ata plan connection problem

Hi,
I'm a starhub user. I not sure if anyone is facing the same problems like me.
I cant send MMS msg or connect to the internet using the mobile broandband service that i have subscribed. The phone as the same settings as what a user had previously posted. But i still cant send any MMS nor connect to the net. Connecting thru WiFi has no problem.

Any pointers?

1. Camera is reasonable but it cannot zoom.

2. There should be a 'BACK' button available on the screen so that we do not need to keep pressing the back button on the phone. sooner or later, the button might give way.

3. A screen unlock button or way like the iphone will be good just like many users said. if not another button spoilt. sianz...

4. The sms features that came along with this phone are not robust enough. It's simple but it might not cater to what most users need.

its great how when there is screen keys for Back, Home and Menu, some are unhappy. when there is hardware key for these, others are also not happy. That's why there are so many different phones with same functions; we all have different preferences.

but if you prefer screen keys, trade for milestone.

I'm using screen protector for HTC Hero currently and it fits well my Legend well, but will get Martins Field soon. Prefer a device to be how it's supposed to be.

Anyone having this issue on your Legend? Is it normal? Today I was being referred from HTC Care to SIS and I was told by the latter that they will get back to me by 5pm today, not heard no news after that.

Hi i just bought the LEGEND, have been using HERO since last year.
I have a slight problem...

Example i am using handcent SMS.. and when i want to send a new SMS and add a contact, from the drop down of contacts list, all my contacts are DUPLICATED. Meaning i have 2 of the same contacts. i have already set the people viewing to PHONE only.

Anyone has the solution to this??

ya it's normal, but if the button is tilt too high, then you will have problem when you want to press as it will be the edge will be on top of the screen.

if you set to 'phone' only, it should show only 1 set. do you have any social network profile configured on your phone? I used to have that and it will show my fb and phone contact. i just link them together to become one.

yup i did set to phone only..and nope did not since to social networking..somehow its confused..
when i go into "PEOPLE" it shows 1 single entry..but when i select the "PHONE" option it still shows both sim and phone..sigh irritating to go thru double contacts
