hm.. i think you should bring it to the service centre to let them check.. i doubt they'll do 1-1 for it? I wouldn't trust the 1-1 set after reading up so much anyway.. just see if they can fix it on the spot for you

To be fair to the fruity product, having a wallpaper behind the icon list really adds to the clutter and makes everything hard to see.

I don't think Mac OS only allows black/non-patterned wallpappers.

If you do that, you will have 180±20 items on most common screen resolutions. You will feel an acute clutter pain even on a solid background!

And what you are describing is the app list background. I'm talking about home screen background and by extension, the lack of a home screen in the first place!

hey guys can u all update your phone ? i downloaded the system update , it reboots when open up shows a green icon refresh symbol den reboot and comes up dialog to ask if want to install it again

seems like there is new Over The Air (FOTA) update for HTC Legend.

The new software number after the update will be 1.31.707.3

as shown in the htc website

but i have not been prompt for it though, even when i tried to check for update also don't have.

anyone managed to update their phone?

I have updated it to 707.3 from 707.2. i cannot tell the difference

No prompt for update. I only knew about when i went to HTC website so i hit the check up and voila, i updated the phone. No issues at all.

just wondering, if i put alot of widgets, icons on the 7 home screens, will it consume more batt that way, compared to only a few icons on 1 home screen.

oh my didnt ask if it does cover the whole screen.nvm i will review once i got it but most likely next week liao since i just open my letterbox and found nothing and tomorrow is a holiday.sian..think i will get a silicon case too..just kinda precious to have the case scratched..

Does it have weak loudspeakers & soft ringtone like the desire?

dont have a desire to compare but i would say it is loud as long as the loud speaker is not block entirely..you want to listen music through it and hearing your phone ringing is not an issue as far as i know.loud and crisp.

only problem is really batt issue..super duper flat in no time.advanced task killer is a must...set it to kill crazily.haha.

Ok legend is slightly louder than desire. I used htc default mp3 music call warrior by andy caldwell for comparison . Legend exhibited a higher pitch than desire perhaps it is due to the aluminium back?
