oh then android is much better to play than nokia la, bro. but i won't be surprised that Legend reception not as good cos of the aluminium body. as for mp3 quality, definitely as good as N82. but yeah la, if you want fm radio, maybe just go get a headset with fm radio...cheaper and easy to move from phone to phone :)

np n82 is a good phone too bro
oh better receptions hmm then one pt down for me haha
as i need a phone with good fm receptions
as i now use my e72 for my mp3 and FM needs ahha
no more use my nokia for phhone purpose haha

now on bb and iphone
but looking at andriod to play around hehe
maybe i just get a dedicated fm tuner cum mp3 device hehe

both are great phones :) whats your reason of choosing Legend? Just curious heh

desire is bigger, heavier and more ex than legend. i know that desire has a faster processor and a bigger screen, but faster processor and bigger screen means it consumes much more power right? batt life is one of my main concern. i presume legend consume lesser power than desire?

correct me if i'm wrong. thks~

you guys do know that desire and the likes of sony xperia x10 have faster processor because they have bigger screen, so need additional power. so its unfair to compare with the legend.

i got this problem with the mail on my legend. I cannot seem to access or download the "SENT" emails from my gmail account.
Any ideas? I have tried to reset and reinstalled my account on my legend a few times but to no avail.

The inbox is fine whereby I can download up to 200 messages.

And one more thing, the NOTIFICATION for HTC Mail doesn't work. no sound...no vibration...

Any ideas? Thx.

did you say needs faster processor ** because ** bigger screen? so HD2 needs even faster processor? it really isn't as simple as that...

why is it unfair to compare Desire with Legend? not like they have different OS. of course we compare similarities and differences. In fact, precisely because they have same OS but different processors that we shd compare. In this case, i feel clearly the 1ghz processor is much faster than Legend's but in nowhere does the slower processor impede the usability of Legend. Indeed Legend is really fast in itself.

To say just because two phones have different screen sizes therefore should not be compared, basically makes any comparison of any sort pointless isn't it?

Its obviously a fact that because they have bigger screen, they require faster processor. if not, why they don't put 1 ghz processor into legend? you can't deny the fact that bigger screen requires more processor power. And now you are comparing processor speed, lol, if you just compare them like that of coz 1ghz is faster than 600mhz, unless you failed your maths. But in this case because of size difference, its unfair to compare, unless both are of the same size.

You are like comparing a laptop/notebook with a netbook.

I am amazed by this point of view, but of course you are entitled to it. but let me get this right, you are basically saying
1. bigger screen needs faster processor and
2. we should not compare Desire with Legend because they have different processor speed right?

my point is that
1. bigger screen may or may not need faster processor. different processor for the same os is just to cater to different needs/demands of different people.
2. even though Desire and Legend have different processor speeds, perceptibly there is not much difference to an ordinary consumer like me.
3. i agree we should not compare oranges to apples but in this case the two phones are similar enough to be compared. in fact, it is thru doing comparisons implicitly or explicitly that consumers decide which features cater to their unique individual needs. In this case it is not just the processor that appeals; maybe it is the unibody? maybe it is the handier size? maybe it is the material?

anyway, i won't be responding to this particular discussion between us already because it is obviously an impasse. Besides the arguments smacks of tautology.

While you're in the gmail app, press Menu and go to the View labels option.. you should be able to view your sent items by selecting the Sent label..

Same goes to the notification, select Settings and change your notification options accordingly. Hope it helps!

Nah...screen size is not proportional to CPU speed. You don't really need a faster CPU to drive a bigger screen.

It's just your imagination and lack of knowledge.
