wah....u buy phone then rush down....they half day on sat right?

fast hand fast leg.

Bro, I bought the Legend on Fri afternoon. :D Then rushed to domL today to fix the screen protector as the MF stock just came in ard 10 plus am today. :D:D
Touch screen la.... I cannot wait too long before putting on a protector. :D

This baby definitely needs daily charging.. not unlike the Nexus (and for nexus I was using the enhanced capacity batt from Seidio). One thing - the volume of the Legend is louder than the nexus (esp speaker phone).

Bros who are contemplating buying the Legend - I cannot emphasize enuff that the signal reception (whether for the network or wifi) is rather dodgy.. it comes and goes. Of cos when you are outside, it's fine.

You mean the reception is poor at home? and wifi is poor are you using your home wifi if home wifi is poor how can outside wifi be good?

Sorry for not making it clearer.. When outside, I'm referring to the network (not the wifi). My point is made in comparison to all my previous devices used (nexus, milestone, n900, n97, etc..).

So what you are saying is that in conclusion the reception of HTC Legend is poor right, and it is worst at home as compare to outside in the open, in this case does it still have reception when we put the phone in our pocket?

Since I was home ard this evening, I have had difficulty sending out and receiving sms (no network reception) but the reception will come back again after 10 - 20 secs (thoough it's weak). So far no one has called me. :s13:

As for camera flash, I hardly used my phones to take photos. I took 1 photo last night. Imo, it is slightly brighter than nexus but the image quality is really nothing to shout abt.

i suppose the selling point is mostly the unibody and build quality, which seems to be pretty spot on so far from what i am reading elsewhere.

i just hope Legend does not have HD2's screwy messaging problems which has made HD2 super infamous.

The phone is definitely a looker but one can argue also - a hottie that perform only when in the mood. :D:D

Messaging is working well.

Would be a dealbreaker if it really has bad/intermittent reception. Afterall, one of the main purpose are the call/msg functions.

:)

a solid metal chassis would severely hamper these signals. Indeed, this was one of the reasons the original iPhone apparently had bad reception and why the iPhone 3G changed to an all plastic back. However, we had no such problems with the Legend, even in our office that has particularly poor reception. Call quality was also excellent, though the loudspeaker is a little weedy.

I wouldn't call it bad reception but intermittent reception (even if for few secs) in these days is just plain crazy. :D:D
