Is the Legend able to display Jap/Thai/Chinese fonts natively? Or it will require rooting and hacking?

Appreciate it if someone can let me know please, thank you :)

definitely can display chinese font. can use finger and write chinese characters also. i guess it is native because the feature is already there, no need to install any app.

wait. do you mean composing sms or displaying chinese websites or both?

got my set today and played around a bit. a quick review:

among the outstanding features:

screen quality and response is probably among the best i have seen so far, as good as nexus one; response is also the best for a 600 Mhz (in fact it feels faster than both the nexus one that i have owned); call quality is amazingly good -- you feel like the person is speaking right next to you without feeling like others can overhear your conversation (which was how i felt about my milestone, which is that it is so clear and loud that it is leaking to someone else's ears); music quality is as good as any other phones out there; build quality and comfort in holding the phone during phone calls are outstanding! even the power button and volume button are curved in a way that pressing them feels good.

among the ok features:
touchpad works well but i wish i could adjust the sensitivity up and down as i wish; camera is not too bad but still not as good as HD2 or E72, but easily miles ahead of milestone while the flash is stronger than nexus one and milestone.

prob:
somehow the 'add word' function for the keyboard is now missing; Handcent seems to repeatedly crash; the phone signal is easily the worst of any of my phones -- for most phones, i can still get signal when i am in the lift for a while right until it starts going down a few levels, but with the legend, even before the lift door closes, the signal is lost.

all in all, my first impression is overwhelmingly good while the flaws are all but insignificant.

I've had 2 HTC phones before, on winmo and then on hero. HTC phone signals tend to be terrible IMO.

I'm using both my Hero and Milestone now. And in terms of getting better signal.

No prizes for guessing which is better!

I think they got no Android app yet...anyway the app is almost exactly the same as the mobile site, no loss.

after completing first charge of 8/9 hours, how many hours to charge it thereafter? unplug when the light turns green? if not, any dangers of overcharging it if continue to charge after it turns green?

for info...
legend price @ hello shop is 368 for flex lite plan. 418 for i-one plus plan.
But i dont know if they still selling legend now.

online singtelshop sell legend for i-1 plus is 298. u see the difference, the voucher of 80 dollar even if use in hello shop also more ex then online shop.. thats no benefit at all :S

btw.. just an enquiry, is this price difference kind of same for other telco? As in online purchase of starhub mobile phone is cheaper compare to their shop purchase.

Locate the icon "Market" on your phone, which should bring you to the app market for Android.
Hope it helps.

Hi,

I was told from MO about the phone's price is going to change this weekend. DO you think that it will be higher or lower?
